    Basic Bloodwork Questions

    Greetings Members,

I finished PCT of my first cycle two weeks ago. Therefore I will be getting bloodwork done in two weeks to see if I'm good for my next cycle.

My question is what are the things that I will be looking at in my blood test to determine my health level and what are the healthy ranges for each one of them in order to continue using Steriods ?

Is there a specific type of blood test I will need to conduct or are they all standard?

    Thanks for your time.

    • Total Testosterone
    • Bioavailable Testosterone
    • Free Testosterone
    • Estradiol (specify “sensitive” assay for males)
    • LH
    • FSH
    • CBC
    • Comprehensive Metabolic Panel
    • Lipid Profile
    • PSA (for those over 40 with family history of prostate CA. >45 all others)
    • IGF-1, IGFBP-3 (if GH therapy has been initiated already)

    From Kel's: http://forums.steroid.com/hormone-re...physician.html

EDIT: Bloodwork should be minimum 6 weeks after PCT, better make it 8.

I made about 3 - 4 Pounds of solid muscle gains. I expected to see more because it was a heavy first cycle. Maybe I'll only use test for my next cycle.

PS: I'm still new to the forum. Am I correct to assume that 'op' means original poster?

Thanks for you informative reply Mr.BB. However, could you address the ranges that each one of these should normally be in?

Ranges differ from lab to lab... Plus I dont have them in my head.

The goal would be to compare post bloodwork with pre-cycle.
