Corticosteroids Question.

Lower back started hurting bad about 2 weeks ago. My Dr. Gave me a 7mg. Shot of Decadron last Tuesday and a Medrol dose pak that I have one more day to complete. I'm definitely feeling better all over the body, but I was just wondering if Corticosteroids steroids work against the muscle to a marked degree? I've been very thirsty since I began treatment and have definitely lost a bit of size. I had just finished a Tren Ace/Test Prop Blast when this happened and was very pumped. But now it's like the Corticosteroids took away most of my gains from this last cycle.

Corticosteroids will also make the kidneys excrete less sodium, thus retaining it. That explains the thirst, and will also draw free water away from the muscles, thus reducing the pump.

I'm not sure how it will impacts gains.

I believe they are catabolic so yes gains will be impacted negatively...
