Has anyone tried DHEA?

I tried a run of about 50g's. Didn't do anything for me. Let me be more specific. I'm pretty well tuned in to my body. I eat carbs, it goes through my system in 4.5hrs. I eat meats, it goes through my system in 8 to 9 hours. I can affect my bf through diet within 2 to 2.5 weeks. I do an AAS cycle, I can measure gains (body weight, %bf) in 2 week increments. I get on DHEA for 50g's and there was no significant gains I can measure in terms of weight gain or %bf increase/decrease. There was some gains but it could have been due to other factors like diet, training, cardio, etc. My conclusion was that DHEA, alone didn't give the results I wanted. I haven't tried DHEA in conjunction with an AAS cycle. DHEA is a pre-cursor so maybe I would get more gains if combined with an AAS cycle. If anyone has data, please post.

It gives me gyno symptoms EVERY time I have tried it,,regardless of the dose. I realize your a female so the benefits/sides could
be much different for you. I know as a man,,,I will never use it again.

I was diagnosed with low test. I was prescribed test and DHEA in Mexico. I stopped taking the dhea because someone sent a link that it will actually turn to estrogen.
BB' s link re- enforces the docs prescript.
In PCT and going to get blood work to see where i am at. Since i cycle, i have not really been following what the doc asked me to.

If BW indicates you don't need it then don't take it. If it shows it is needed, chances are with moderate dosing you'll be just fine. Naturally follow-up BW should be done to confirm effectiveness of a micronized product. DHEA can be shunted to other hormones depending on what the body needs at the time.
