pre-cycle Bloodwork questions - test low?

Hi Guys,

I am currently on my first cycle, however beforehand I took bloods and my main results were as follows:

TOTAL TEST: 13.4nmol/l (386.17ng/dl)
FREE TEST: 250pmol/l (19.43ng/dl)
SHGB: 37.6 nmol/l

I am a 33 year old male. My doctor said this is normal and shouldnt effect sexual function (I have had issues and I blamed SSRI's for those).

When I do come off my cycle I will PCT and will have to try get my numbers back to what they were. However my question is whether you guys (knowing as much as you do about testosterone) think this is low for natural testosterone?

I realise my question is not cycle related, however I am wondering whether I am a candidate for TRT or if I am worrying about nothing? (this is something I will have to worry about when completing PCT). Quite honestly, I would prefer your advice to my doctor as having researched it, it looks very low to me.

If the consensus is that it is low I will go see a specialist after PCT, however if all is normal then I will just make sure my levels get back up to what they were.

There is general agreement that total testosterone levels above 12 nmol/L (346 ng/dL) or free testosterone levels above 250 pmol/L are normal.
Your general practitioner probably won't put you on TRT with these numbers because although low, they are still within the normal range. However, after this cycle, it is a good possibility that your natural levels will not come back as high as they were. It's best to just wait until after your PCT and see. Good luck.

thanks man I appreciate the honest feedback. That reassures me a bit and if my test doesnt come back to normal after PCT I will see a specialist.

npp - 100 x 2
sus - 250 x 2
adex - 1

clomid and nolva (amounts will start off like the sticky, unless advised otherwise)

Really sorry about the short post, any more information and the spam filter stops me from posting.

The above numbers are weekly (done every 3.5 days). AI is done eod. This is a 10 week cycle.

I will change to a single short ester test at end for 5 weeks before pct.

TBH that is too much and too complicated for a first cycle.

Run your sust for 12 weeks. Drop the npp and don't mess about with a different ester at the end just run your PCT.

Are you really taking 1g of Adex eod?

Any Hcg?

Is it your intention to have low test after pct?

Regarding Adex, yes 1mg eod. (Armidex). I explained but the spam filter wouldnt let me, so Ill try here. any lower and I experience estro sides, at this level (I know it is high) my sides are almost non-existent and my drive is up and feel very good. If I go to .25 or .5 I experience sides (I started low and worked up until I found the sweet spot for me (under guidance)).

No Hcg during cycle. I know there are different schools of thought and the main one here is that you run it during cycle, I have read why it is important, especially for faster recovery, however no I am not taking it during cycle (I am taking guidance again here, I kind of thought too many cooks in the kitchen (everyone has a different opinion)).

Honestly I am feeling great and loving the stack. I have no adverse sides and am getting consistent gains. At this point I wont drop the npp as there are no issues, however I know it is important to run test for 2 weeks after dropping the npp so I could just run the sust for a further 2 week instead of running 5 on a shorter ester.

It is not my intention to have low test after pct no (I imagine this is a rhetorical question), however due to my seemingly low natural test if it doesnt recover properly I will see a specialist.
If your question relates to hcg then my automatic thought is alot of bb's dont run hcg during the cycle. If its to do with the high dose of Arimidex then its either I run at a high dose or stop the cycle now because I get water retention, night sweats, high blood pressure etc, however at this dose I feel great (all functions are doing well). Would you suggest something else?
