Boil in abdominal after injected L carnitine why?

Hi guys friend of mine always used L carnitine injection in the abdominal area now after about 3 months he got these boils in his abdomen ist really something bad? Doc asked to do echo or scan for some reason what could it be?

Either the gear was not clean or the injection was not clean. There's not many reasons for your friend to all of a sudden get a boil if everything was exactly the same.

He said I doubt in the L carnitine itself but he finished the bottle 3 months ago and as you said all of sudden he gets boil that's strange . What make me think is something bad is the doc has asked to do scan or echo
