As it says, I'm looking for some good recommendations on books about steroids
Like actual books from Barnes & Noble or amazon.com something with a lot of nice good information

Try this book. Look for the chapter called "stickies"
Forums dot Steroid dot Com.
Have a nice day
Few of my head were steroid handbooks by dan duchaine, there were 3-4 editions total latest 2001 or 2004 with some good context. Dont cling to what one or few books say, take what they say and distile with your own and common knowledge, things change constantly as days go, old compounds get obsolete new protocols take place but alot can be learned from old books when you get info right, next time you hear some retard preaching you old shit that no longer works you know how to deal with individual as such

Another good one was bodyopus by dan duchaine , wasnt much in steroids but touched on that too and on few diet approaches and so on
Really?
Does it get you hard, trying to be a forum snob?
Thank you to the other 2 respondents for actually giving recomemdations
See the thing is I've read the stickies and I would like to be able to read what those fellows have read that posted the stickies I don't just want I just digested knowledge spoonfed me to me quite the opposite
I have a very high intelligence and I would like to sit down at night time and read a good book on the subject of anabolic steroid use and so forth to be able to have the knowledge that people who wrote the Sticky's have
Nope sorry, doesn't get me hard. Sorry to disappoint you. I guess I'll go through the motions of explaining my "snob" response.
Unfortunately literature regarding AAS is scarce and somewhat outdated. The "Underground Steroid Handbooks" are mostly based on anecdotal evidence. This forum right here actually contains some of the best and brightest minds in the world of anabolics. Here on this forum you can get real time feebcack from vets who have decades of experience, and ask specific questions you will not find the answer to in the currently available literature.
If you are serious about improving your base of knowledge, then you should be studying and researching physiology and endocrinology.
Understand what happens medically inside your body, will help give you the background and context you are looking for.
Hard fact is Big Pharma pays for all research projects. They know testosterone is a miracle and do not want it to destroy their franchise. So with that there is almost zero steroid research that is applicable and easily accessable. Endocrinology and urology medical school books are the place to go. Just reading the chapters once will make you know more than most.
The other point I will say is..every person is a unique case in medicine. How does my 100 lb Chinese wife eat 4500 calories a day and stay skinny with minimal exercise? For her the macros and general wisdom in the diet section would kill her...literally. Once you accept this fact then you are ready to gather knowledge on steroids. If there was a book that said...Know all on steroids...I could call BS and be right 100 out of 100 times.
There are good amount of literature put out over the years, I hunted down most of it, haven't had enough time to read quarter of it all , and believe it or not, everything is anecdotal evidence until you put it trough your own body
The books that do exist are outdated.
Its the online era baby.
You are probably aware of this thread that gives links for downloadable e-books. It's one of the top threads in the educational sub-forum here.
Unfortunately, the downloads did not work for me. If you have a kindle then the most current of edition of William Llewellyn's anabolics book is available through amazon. Based on reviews it seems to be one of the more comprehensive e-books on anabolics.
Chemical Muscle Enhancement is also available on Amazon and that is an actual physical book which seems what you're looking for.
Ah I see
Very good
I read lot of the stickies here
Agreed on the you wont find much out there view. You can study steroid profiles. How they are shaped how they look what they do how they bind the strong ones the weaker ones..each person will react differently. ...theres much still to be known. Pardon me but i dont think you could swallow all the knowledge on the forum in just couple months? If you do find any new info, please post it and share it with us. Seriously
Im with you Van. Not trying to be disrespectful couch, I think Van is right. I have been doing a lot of reading especially in the HRT section. I have somewhat of a medical background (paramedic) but a lot of what these guys know and write is above my level of expertise. I think if you spent some time reading and cross referencing the info to really understand (unless you already do, not trying to be demeaning) I think there is a lot to gain. Keep up the research sir!!
Get yourself cheap knockoff 12-14" android tablet and load with ebooks and pdf files , and enjoy.
I like to research Intel from multiple sources. And then I take an average form them all and consider it. This for for everything. Lifting etc. unsure about roids but for various workouts etc for example I take in all in and then try it. With the soreness test after doing it. A little different for roids though lol
It is not on steroids but the most informative information I have read on medical is the first chapters of "The diabetic foot". It is a med school book that covers the issues of feet and diabetis. The first few chapters is dedicated to the actual issues of diabetis and causes and what it actually causes that makes it so bad. I see that the majority of things....blood pressure, LDL, blood sugar, etc are all concerns with steroids. It talks to what each of these items actually impacts and what you can expect long term by not putting each in check. You will learn that blood pressure is the killer. pick it up and read it.....you will not be sorry. Cost me 125 bucks in Beijing China Medical Book Store.
It is amazing how the sides of testosterone is pretty much having diabetis.
