Testosterone base
Hello everyone
I'm 30 years old. Training for 2 years. What do you think about taking test base for pre workout 50mg ? Training 3 times a week. Never done aas. I don't want to do a cycle just want to take it on training days. Is it going to shut me down anyway ? Thank you.

Welcome to the forum!
Using test base, over the course of a few weeks, will shut your HPTA down.
Unless you're on cycle or TRT the juice isn't worth the squeeze.
Everybody reacts to tne differently.
Some feel an improvement in their workout, where others feel nothing.
For what it's worth if I had to choose between 100mg of tne or a cup of coffee pre workout, I'd choose the coffee.

The thing about Test is that you want to maintain a constant concentration in your blood. The Test base will spike your Test level and then it drops off. Your body doesn't like such variations in Test level and will rebel by making you suffer through some bad side effects.

I liked the idea of test suspension as a pre workout as well
Propionate is more attractive though after research I think. But my situation is unique and in,Ike that it's out of your system quicker

my experience with it was that it was great pre workout, but I was ofcourse on other AAS as well.
Whether it would have any anabolic effect if you used test base pre workout 3 times a week f.ex (if used often in would suppress endogenous test production),
I'm not sure. You could ofcourse use it for very short cycles, say 1 week of 100mg/day, which would suppress you for such short a time that you'd probably recover very easily, but it's always a risk of some degree of shutdown lasting longer.
If you're not gonna cycle or use AAS for anabolic purposes, I wouldn't mess with test base just for pre workout stim.
It works but options that doesn't cause suppression would be a safer choice IMO.

Most pre workout supps contain something along the line of:
Caffeine
Taurine
Beta alanine
Creatine (in one of many different forms)
Arginine (often as HCl or some other form)
Citrulline
BCAA (usually not very much)
Glutamine
Now, if you try either one of these ingredients before training, with the exception of caffeine and the tingling from beta alanine, you don't notice much if anything at all.
While arginine, citrulline MAY help the pump somewhat I tend to think the ingredients other than caffeine only have a slight (if at all) noticable effect on the training session, but they may affect recovery, DOMS and how you perform the Next session.
But for the hours after you take a PW the caffeine effect will pretty much overshadow all the other ingredients, unless there are other stimulants in there.
So coffee should have just as much effect as any PWO, but personally I feel coffee is to hard on the stomach to drink just before a workout.

Intresting. I believe niacin is good for the lipid profile (it lowers cholesterol I think) as well.
But I seem to remember high doses are necessary, and 1000mg is certainly a high dose.
(High dose niacin administered IV in some experiments helped lower cholesterol if I remember correctly)
Have you checked your lipid profile recently when using this amount of niacin, or checked when not using it for a while? Do you have any notion as to whether it has indeed helped your lipids?

Yes, using niacin has improved lipids by several points.
To be honest they were never bad.
It was more of a preventative measure when using AAS.
If you haven't read the attached thread by Kel you should, it's an interesting read.

I think what everyone is saying here is fact..the caffine is the main ingredient in pre workouts and is a necessary pre workout supp for me..I get the awake pills from Walgreens there cheap and work really well..AS far as using test suspension pre workout..I LOVE it..it puts me in a good zone and gives me enough of a push to put the edge on my workouts.i enjoy 50mg d Bol as well but for me there's nothing better than 100 mg TNE..yuuuuummmmm
