IM injection/needle size
So I recently got advice to inject glutes instead of quad since I'm a newb and I messed up my first quad injection. I only have 25gauge 1inch needles but was told you should use 23gauge 1.5inch needles for glutes. Couple questions:
1. Can you use 25guage 1inch in glutes?
2. Anyone know where I can iu 23gauge 1.5inch monoject needles?
3. 1.5 inch seems really long - Is it possible to pin completely through the muscle or would that never happen?
4. Can someone show me a good picture of where to inject on the quad/glute? Or a measurement like, "put your palm on your hip and inject where your fingertips fall"
Thanks!

Really it depends on your bf. I have never used a 1.5 inch pin I always use 1 inch or even 5/8 works really well for quads

It doesn't take that long injecting with a 25 gauge. Besides, it's good to inject nice and slow. Sometimes I'll take 2 minutes to push in 2mls. of oil IM. Just a little food for thought.

Thanks for the pictures. Is it possible to inject all the way through the muscle? If you do a quad injection. I buried my 1 inch needle all the way in on my last injection and it still hurts. The bottom outer part of my thigh near my knee is actually where it hurts the worst and it's swollen there.

It'll be the same. Possibly a bit more difficult.
Where's a good place to buy? Kinda new here.

drawing oil takes barrel vacuum force at play, so in theory if you take 5ml syringe and use 28g needle, pulling back to the top the plunger of a whole 5ml syringe will create more drawing force thus the oil will flow quicker to the syringe, and where we are talking about injection, last time I tried with 30G pin 195ml of test-e went in in under 30 seconds, it was the force of your hand now pressing the oil trough whatever pin size you choose.
Last time I used 23g to draw, it was like water, no effort almost, and same size to pin, barrel was 2ml, and not used to all plastic plunger and big bore pin I went probably too fast and as it seemed almost effortless push it created dull discomfort in my glute injecting, but subsided in following 3-4 days, so still all good. I am looking to buy slin syringes with removable needles so I can draw with one and pin with another.
PS: if you can heat up oil in cup of hot/boiled water before pin, it makes it so much easier to draw, even if its something like 30G

I can't find 23 gauge 1.5 inch needles anywhere. I'm only finding 23g 1in. Any suggestion?

just google search medisave uk , thats where I usually get my syringes, they deliver worldwide too. There may be better places that sell even more products at better cost, just sharing something I had nice experience with
