1250 IU HCG 2x/week HRT pellets

My friend started TRT/HRT and is doing pellets. He is very new and his doc has him doing a 10,000IU HCG vial per month. 1250IU 2x weekly. Can you answer why, or any concerns to consider?

(he is instructed to put 4ml bac into the 10,000IU HCG and pull to .5ml every monday and thurs)

I also wonder why 10,000Iu even exists.. we reconstitute and pull 250 twice a week... 10 weeks(for 5,000IU). Any more and you have to draw more do to it degrading. Do any TRT guys buy 10,000 vials?

Well let's not forget HCG is a woman's hormone, firstly intended for women, and they need high dosages.

As for TRT going anything higher than 250IU at once is a great way to boost progesterone and estradiol more than anything. Studies made on men concluded 100IU daily is enough to maintain physiologic intratesticular testosterone concentrations. Going biweekly there is no need for more than 250IU imo, unless the testes are don't respond as they should, which is more likely if primary hypogonadism is the reason why he's on TRT.

The HCG comes in 3500/5000/10000 IU vials. A pregnant woman will pee out millions of IU's of HCG in one sitting. So the stuff we're taking is not much at all.
