How did medical training influence your steroid use?

I have read a few threads where some of the professions of forum members have been referenced generally and I have seen healthcare professions included. As a future medical student and someone interested in AAS I'm interested to know how your medical training or education (nurse, physician, physicians assistant, LPN etc.) influenced your use of steroids?

Made it worse, lol once I had the ability to look at the primary research myself and not just the DEA or FDA brochures they hand out. I was able to cut through the skewed data, biased, over exaggerated and even out right wrong information to see that AAS can be used safely and effectively if done right.

Yes there are risks and consequences, no compound that alters a persons physiolgy is perfect. But it's not this dangerous, heart exploding, roid rage rampage causing compound that is portrayed by the media and health agencies. I would only need to point to the history of cannibus regulation (which I'm not a fan of using) to make my point that government agencies can ignore or manipulate science to push their agendas.

I don't think it did other than to allow me to fully understand the implications of not taking care in using them. I have found that the knowledgeable members of this forum know much more than most docs regarding hormones and the axis, and most are extremely conscientious in preventive care and proper use of periodic labs, PCT, etc.
As MuscleScience commented, it did allow me to see the propaganda and scare tactics employed to deter their use. And the funny thing is, the medical profession just jumps right on the pharmaceutical band wagon and writes scripts like there is no tomorrow, never questioning the safety of most benign drugs and then we find out years later of the deleterious effects they have. At least with AAS most all information is available and you can make an informed decision as well as have a plan to minimize the undesirable side effects and potential complications.

As a Pharmacist, most AAS used in the market are not FDA approved so you can not actually find "useful" information about how to build muscles with it or the recommended doses. Most AAS were made to help HIV patient to maintain muscle density or help people with atrophies and studies are made based on these indications.
The good side that you know exactly what you are doing to your body and you know the consequences and you can spot side effects and know how to deal with it. You are also experienced about regulations of hormones and positive and negative feedback mechanisms as well as blood tests.
But to be honest I learned more from the site about AAS more than any medical litterature I read, it even helped me in my practice in a funny way; now I know by heart how to dial a GH pen and can do unit calculations for all pens in seconds. I got to learn the gauges of syringes that should be used for each muscle and the needle length and I can easily spot a steroid customer in the pharmacy because I know now how it is done.
