Seeing a doctor while on cycle

When getting bloodwork while on cycle, wont any doctor blatantly know the patient is on steroids? Furthermore, if someone starts to have bad reactions on or after cycle because of bad quality gear, bad timing, or things of that nature, wont a doctor want to help you? I cant imagine the doc throwing you out. I havent had any experiences like this, just looking to discuss. It seems pretty easy to walk into a mens health office with terribly low test levels and get testerone therapy, rather than scrambling to self medicate yourself after a bad cycle (which is what i feel like i see some guys do)

It's why many guys pull their own BW via sites that don't require prescriptions. When you go on these sites they'll advise you whether your particular state allows it or not. If a doctor were to throw you out they'd be violating their hypocratic oath. Imagine all the drug overdoses suddenly not being treated. Self-inflicted wounds occur in all walks of life.

Out of all the side effects you could have, this is actually my biggest fear: doctor finding out and stopping treatment with good quality Test and HCG.

Haven't done my first cycle yet, but we're talking within weeks now of starting this. I'll get my own bloods on cycle, but I'm timing it in between doctor's blood tests, and hoping any excess "clues" are out of my system in time. I suppose I'll know more in 6 or 7 months.

I'd love to get blood tests done at kaiser, but they seem like they're watchdogs since they are Healthcare and insurance all in one

Most docs will stop your TRT if your levels are grossly elevated - it's the same deal with narcotics. If your labs show you to be non compliant and the doc continues to prescribe he is placing himself at risk of censure and board action if the chart is ever reviewed. A reasonable doc would talk to you about it first, and give a second chance, but since he/she can sued and be reprimanded by the board the CYA comes in pretty quickly. It is adhering to the hypocratic oath if a doc denies a patient of care for trivial reasons. To not address elevated test levels indicating abuse of the scheduled medication would actually be considered doing harm to the patient, especially by continuing to prescribe.

I would never consider having labs done in a regular clinic where levels of any lab drawn if out of range indicated use of AAS, unless I was concerned about my health. I.e. Better to know your hematocrit is 62 than avoid a doc's office, etc.

I agree with Kelkel completely on use of private labs.

If you could buy reliable gear over the counter it wouldn't be as big a risk. But if you really need TRT like me, it's a tough call to put the knowledge of a good doc and reliable meds at at risk to run a cycle (at least in my mind). That's why I'm spacing it out so my levels will hopefully be back to normal when it is time for official bloods again.

And I guess I should not be so quick to denounce all docs in this regard, but I do have some insider knowledge and it's just a CYA situation once the labs come back. I posted in another forum about the new warnings about abuse potential for testosterone and the recommendations to physicians to order testing for levels if abuse suspected, so that just makes it more difficult because it can ge punitive for the docs even if they want to be reasonable or liberal.

In my experience when I went to see an Endo specialist ( I wanted pharma grade and prescribed so it would be covered by our health care), after viewing my blood test results he highly recommended me to stay off it as my test levels were normal and I can screw up my Endo system.

When I told my own physician I'm on Test (at the time I was only on Test and, she's not aware I'm also on NPP and Dbol), she also told me to get off Test. I requested her office faxed me a requisition for blood work and I've made copies and have been doing BW whenever I want as it's covered by our health care system in Canada, so I can get it down as much as I want. T When I had my results come back with sky high levels of Estrogen etc she never called or was in no hurry to prescribe anything to lower it..because she's against me being on it. As matter of fact her secretary called me this week to say the doctor wants to see my about my blood work "but it's no hurry". WTF? My estrogen was sky high and my liver enzymes were high but it's not urgent? After researching, I've lowered my levels to the norm.

So to me, if they don't recommend or prescribe it, they really don't want to help out.

I saw those warnings and I love my doc. That's why I
keep going back and forth on this. If my sexual abilities had ever come back completely, I probably wouldn't even consider this. But at this point I'm kind of like my life has been fucked, so why not. Not depressed, don't worry Just saying.
