What are the side effects of a trt regiment that puts you in the high normal range?

What are the side effects of a trt regiment that puts in the high normal reference range for testosterone?

Honestly with my busy schedule my test levels have dropped and I just want to get them to the high normal reference range.

I don't want to blast and cruise.

Don't be focused on a number. Everyone is different. what feels good for me could make you feel likes shit. Trt is all about replacing natuarl levels and dialing it to what makes you feel good. Being on the low side of the range of what is considered normal could be your sweet spot.

I like to be at about 75% to 80% of "normal". For this, I need to take 150mg/wk of Test Cyp.

How can I get my test levels up without trt? I'm not ready for trt yet but my levels are still low for my age and they weren't low before.

The only symptom testosterone will directly fix is low sex drive.

Sleep difficulty is not related, and together with busy life and stress will lead to the other symptoms.

Have you tried lowering your stress and busy life?

Testosterone will only help the symptoms if its related to it, if its due to other causes might not help at all.

Start taking vit d minimum 5000ui per day, and zinc. Also improve your sleep cycles and eat more organic complex carbs and less saturated fats, it will help with energy levels.

Yeah I have a lot of stress I need to address that definitely. I think it is causing a lot of my problems, but I also have a low sex drive which maybe is caused by low t. I am going to get blood work in a few weeks and post it here to gather some information.

    What are your physical stats?

At 23, unless there is an underlying medical issue, low test really shouldn't be it.

I am 5'8 195 lbs. I have to get my body fat percentage tested but I've been training seriously for 5 years.

My lifts are 315 bench 355 squat and 455 deadlift.

Anyway for the past year I have been having a lot of stress. I'm having difficulty recovering from workouts. Also I can't get a full erection anymore it feels like rubber when I try to get aroused. My balls have shrunken.

Maybe this is all due to stress but I will get blood work and post it. Anyway I don't want to start steroids but I want to get my sex drive and erections back.

Also I am storing all of my fat in my stomach; I don't know if that's hormonal or not.

The stress in my life is really really bad and it's manifesting itself physically. I'm getting chest pains after I lift and do cardio.

Anyway first I'm going to get the cardiovascular workup and blood work.

Then I'll get the hrt blood work that kelkel mentioned and I'll post it here.

I am close to my goals but I need to get my cardio and heart stuff straightened out. I think it's just anxiety but I'm out of breath when I shouldn't be sometimes.

I monitor my heart rate while I'm doing cardio on the treadmill and make sure to not go over the 198 maximum exercise rate for my age.

I also have the myfitnesspal app to track my calories.

I want to get down to 180 shredded with good cardio.

I want my bench to be around 400 squat 500 and deadlift 600.

Anyway thanks for the help guys I'll get blood work and update.

You appear to have a good frame to build on. You'll get there, just do things correctly and get the BW done first.

I remember this pic of Alistair Overreem. When this pic was taken, His test levels were 14 times more than a normal person and he was banned for some time.

I suffered from stress for a long time as i worked in night shifts for almost 10 years. Though stress is important for the body to generate body's own stress response. But when the body gets overwhelmed by the stress, It causes many mental and physical problems as you too stated. In my case meditation really helped me.
I would suggest you to google sam harris meditation, on his site he has explained A technique of meditation in few easy steps and you can also listen to his guided meditation video on you tube.
I would also suggest you to watch this documentary ' The Connection' about stress and what stress can lead to, how to deal with it. It is really good. as the concept shown is evidence based and supported by doctors and research scienctists.
This is my first post on the forum so unable to add the video link. But you can watch this documentary on onlinemoviescinema dot com for free.

So I am going to get these labs taken.

    Total Testosterone
    • Bioavailable testosterone (aka Free and Loosely Bound)
    • Free Testosterone
    • SHBG
    • DHT (gel users especially pay attention to this)
    • Estradiol (specify “sensitive” assay for males)
    • LH
    • FSH
    • Prolactin
    • Cortisol
    • Thyroid Panel (complete)
    • CBC
    • Comprehensive Metabolic Panel
    • Lipid Panel
    • PSA (age dependent)
    • IGF-1, IGFBP-3 (if HGH therapy is being considered)
    • Vitamin D
Do you recommend privatemdlabs for this? I don't know how I would approach my doctor about this I think they will dismiss me because of my physique but my testosterone did go from 880 at 18 to 400 at 21 and I suspect that they are getting lower now.

You'd pay an arm and a leg getting all of those yourself. I'd try to get as much as you can via your doctor first and then fill in the blanks at a private source. Tell the doc you don't feel like yourself, libido, motivation, etc. and that you want to check your testosterone levels as well as pituitary function. Nothing wrong will telling him you've been doing some reading and would like the above panel to get a well rounded look at things.

If healthy diett i would say hct and prostate only. But both need attention.
Enlargement of prostate is real annoying. Makes u pee 4 times every nigth and bad sleep and tiredness all day are the results. Which may cause lots of other sides.
