    BEWARE: Poke in the quads!

Mother F* ... I switched up injecting sites yesterday and went for the quad.

Using a 23g 1" pin and shooting 250mg Test E I poked the pin in my right quad (zone 1)! It did sting a little (more than glutes) but like Happy Gilmore I "went to my happy place" and sucked it up!

Following correct injecting protocol everything went fine but G' damn my leg is sore as hell!!!!!! Feels like someone just kicked the shit out of it!

I've been using hot and cold compress but its still sore!

No more quad injections for me!

If you think quads are bad, don't shoot up your calves.

If the gear is affecting you then quads will suck. Some UG Cyp I tried, made it hard to walk for 2-3 days, especially downstairs, when shot in the quads. Left my tricep warm to the touch for a solid week, that had me worried.

It's the gear.... When I was using cyp I would hit the quads and there was no problems... started using winny and I just wanted to die. All sites are easy.

Quads are great IMO. I hit the delts, quads and glutes. Never had any problems with the quads as far as pain except when i hit a vein or nerve. But no biggie. Tried tri's one time nad i will never do them again. I guess everyone is different.

I've been limping for 4 weeks. I'm on a 12 week ed cycle and my prop is very irritating. It gets a little less painful with time.

That's the first time I have heard of stretching before injecting. Thanks for the advice! Does this hold true for all injection sites?

I only use quads. Every place you could think of including the tear drop. Never had any pain.

Id think it was your gear. I only use a 25g 1" ever as well.

Well I've been doing quad shot the past week and the first was the worst but not really that bad..although I used Test400 and EQ in the same needle...I think i'm going to stay with quads for awhile..easy to reach and shot...I give quads two thumbs up!

The quad is my favorite injection spot. I hate the delt shots.

Same here. I would suggest mixing some eq with that test to lighten up the Ba content a little. Maybe some more sterile oil?

I always hit my quads, and never had any pain unless I move the needle around.

Quads are also my favorite site...

If you think they're bad, wait 'till you hit fina ED or EOD... bicep and tricep injects were interesting (actually both were a snap, bi's just felt a little odd as the juice went in).

Agreed, I'm fairly certain I'd hit my pecs before I touch calves again. Hell, i'd even consider hamstrings before I go back below the knee.

its the same as any other site you use, imho.

the more you use it, the more accustomed it will become to having a foreign substance injected there. if you have a site that gets very sore, dont give up on it. perfect your technique, and keep shooting there. it WILL get better.

I totally agree. Quads are my fav spot, followed by delts, glutes, and triceps. The tri's took a few tries to get it right. The first shots hurt like a mother.
