    53 year old 1st cycle

    hi all , 1st post and help needed please, i am 53 year young (not old) 6ft 4 in and 215 lb, fat 23% been going to gym for 2 years roughly 4/5 times a week
    want to build some solid lean muscle and will be doing my first cycle after xmas , i have a few questions that i would appreciate honest and constructive help
    1 been told to not do oral only , and start off with test e at 500 a week , with proper pct , if i wanted to build lean muscle does this seem a good starting point.?
    2 best pct for this and to stop any gyno ?
    3 is my age a concern ?

    1. oral only is a no-no
    1b.500 test is the base cycle people seem to suggest for first time users

    3. your age is not so much of a concern as much as your body fat percentage is right now. The higher your body fat the more extreme the side effects are. read the article above and come back with any questions you may have.

    Welecome and dont listen to friends or guys in the gym.A lot of guys have hurt themselves by bad advice.Tip #1 you really need to drop some bf so you wont have E2 problems.Higher bf brings on problems.

    OP have you had your test levels tested? Google "Symptoms of Low T"

    Let me know if you have any of these symptoms.

    Welcome to the forum. You're in my age category. I still look like my avatar so it's possible to be lean and muscular in your 50's. The first thing you should do is to go over to the diet section and work up a diet for yourself that will help you get down to 12% to 13% body fat. Leaner the better when you start your cycle. Read through the "First cycle..." link by austenite. It'll give you a jump on planning a cycle for yourself. This is a DIY forum. You do the research, you come up with a cycle, then the members of the board will help you iron out the details. If you post without doing your research some of these guys could flame you. Cycling Test at your age is awesome. You'll feel like a whole new man. You'll see muscles, strength, endurance, and energy that you haven't seen in years. Good luck.

    BF 23% is a little to high but 500 mg/test a week is a good start,
