Hi,
Just as a disclaimer before someone asks for my stats lol, I am NOT planning on doing either of these cycles anytime in the near future, just trying to wrap my head around some ideas.
I see a lot of threads in which people inquire about running a low dose cycle of just Test @ 200/300 mg per week.
Usually they are advised that the side-effects of running 250mg/week are the same as running 500mg/week so they might as well go with the higher dose.
I want to challenge this advice for a minute.
Now, I understand that natural suppression is happening regardless of the dose, so that is the major "side-effect" that is equal among both cycles and the main reason you might as well take full advantage of that time-frame. However, let's take that one out of the equation for a second. So, forgetting about shutdown.....
To my understanding:
1. Less test = less conversion to estro (although I guess AI would render this irrelevant)
2. Less test = less negative effect on lipids
3. Less test = less negative effects on BP
4. Less test = less increase in Hematocrit
5. Less test = less stress on liver/kidneys
6. Less test = less of a mental UP & DOWN curve going from normal to crazy high back to normal
7. Less test = Results but not drastic results -- Meaning it won't be obvious your on steroids
8. Less test = Slightly less rapid strength gains = Easier on your tendons
Obviously a lighter cycle will yield less results, but what I am questioning is this concept that people say the side-effects are the same for 250 and 500.
Again, taking suppression out of the equation, can someone explain to me how/why the result/side-effect ratio is the same?
