Bit of an Acne Problem...

Im getting some Acne, more than previous cycles, on my arms, only the shoulder/upper arm area. Here is my cycle:

1-20: Test E 700mg/week
1-20: Primo E 900mg/week
1-5: 70MG Anavar ED
15-20: 50MG Winny ED
HCG: 250 IU x2 week

Im using Anastrazol at .5MG EoD now, and I want to bump it up to .5mg ED. Would this address some of the acne, or would it be overkill?

I went to the doc and got a prescription body wash and wipes, but it doesnt make it go away. It helps, but not completely. I also use dawn soap and try to keep the arms dry, but to no avail.

a side effect of test for most people , could be elevated E2 or unbalanced hormone levels , I always get acne with test

Im not asking where it comes from, Im asking about AI increase functioning as an acne reducer. There is absolutely no doubt its from unbalanced hormone levels, you are stating the obvious.

Why not go do an E2 blood test? You don't wanna crash your E2 by taking too much dex just to get rid of some acne.

My thoughts as well Kyle, I think im gonna do this monday. Was just curious as to other experiences running adex at higher dosages.

I'm a bad test subject as I have bad acne myself. I did have to up the AI my last cycle as my E2 was a bit high (50 at halfway point). But, I didn't see any change in acne FWIW.

I was .25mg dex eod and went to .5mg eod for the last 6 weeks. last 2 weeks after last pin I just did .25mg again.

Had bloodtests showing estradiol at >5 pg/ml, and acne was the same.

Maybe it works with you, but its is unlikely, as the hormones responsibles for increasing sebum production are testosterone and DHT.

Don't know your previous cycles but your current cycle's a pretty good sized cycle. Your body's adjusting to the the high level of Test. You're gonna secrete more body oils. This is a good read. I wouldn't go with Accutane just yet. http://forums.steroid.com/steroid-co...acne-free.html

Acne can occur anytime there is a hormone imbalance, i.e. high test.

I'd stay away from increasing your AI dose unless your e2 is elevated.

In my experience with acne on cycle using a luffa sponge in the shower and an alum block a few times a day helps significantly.

Scotch, ill read it, thanks. I have several cycles under my belt, Ive done this much test before last year with some acne, but i dont recall it being this bad. I am running the primo higher than before. roughly 100mgs / week higher. I might taper down slightly and see if it helps. Having acne like this isnt very fun.

Just ordered a bunch of blood work (Test, E2, CBC, Lipid Panel) because its about that time to get it done. We'll see where I stand and Ill adjust accordingly. Best way to tackle this.

Everything is normal. E2 is within normal range at 20.2. Waiting on testosterone results still.

No, what panel is that accompanied with? I used a different site than normal this time so I had some issues figuring out their tests and corresponding bw

Its a fair trade. Get someone to scrub your back with a loofa and your body wash and supplement vitamin e. You will have acne its part of it. If you are prone then its just how it is. I use oxy pads and some wash my girlfriend has for blackheads. The blackhead stuff dries a lot out but it always comes back. Exfoliate, that is key. Scratch it up hard with your cleaner every day but it will only decrease it, it will still happen.

A good question I have for bb or kel or one of the brainy's: What happens to the oil base of your gear after injection? How does your body metabolize it or does it just separate it and move it through the skin over time? Seems like a lot of crud being injected for the body to contend with. The useable parts of the injection I can see being metabolized, but a bunch of oil? My question is how much of the acne is caused by hormone imbalance vs. Injecting foreign oil? Its there regardless but this is just one of those questions that is always bugging me about acne.

What happens to the oil base of your gear after injection?

The esterified hormone gets broken down in acid hydrolysis into an acid and hydronium ion.

The carrier oil gets broken down in lipolysis or triglyceride hydrolysis.

For example MCT oil gets broken down into glycerol and into three of the four following medium chain fatty acids; Hexanoic acid, octanoic acid, decanoic acid or dodecanoic acid.

Glycerol is metabolized in glycolysis into dihydroxyacetone phosphate.

The remaining three MCFAs undergo oxidation.

It adds up to your triglycerides. Does nothing to acne.
