Yes you can but you'd have to back load the steroid into the syringe

Honestly that's all I use now. I back load insulin pins for everything I pin. I can hit the same site 2 or more days in a row. Now they only hold 1 cc so there are a few. Well I said it. It's out there. Lol

    Pussy!
Hehe, nah, but I use a 21G to draw and a 25G to pin.
Could get a 27G and I think that's the same as an insulin syringe.
    But yeah, patience.
When I use a 5ml and have 2-3ml to pin, a 25G seems pretty thin.

    Slin pins are 31 and 30 g

I would like to know more about this pinning oil with one, id not mind that at all. Do they come in at least 3/4" long?

filling an insulin syringe will take forever. I tried once and gave up. However, you can get a regular syringe to fill it and then change the needle to a 27guage and it's super simple. I still heat the oil in hot water before injecting because it makes it easier to get thru the needle.

I always read how difficult it is pinning with a slin pin and most say it takes forever. Maybe I'm doing something wrong lol. I used to pin test c .5ml with a 30 x 5/16" pin. I warmed up the vial with my hand. It took maybe 1 minute to load and 1-2 mins to inject. I'm not in that big of a hurry, I guess. Now I just do IM.

Unless you using water based it's a pain to push on the thing forever..like doc said I prefer 21 to draw 25 to pin only takes a sec and fresh ones are smooth..

If I'm pinning 1 ml or under it's all I use. Gotta pull the plunger out and put the oil in with a larger needle though. Be very careful not to contaminate the plunger when it's out. I lay the plunger in the wrapping of the draw needle I use. Should be lean enough in the shoulders and other places for a half inch to reach muscle. I just don't see the point in causing more damage than what is necessary and I really don't like hitting nerves
