How do i dispose of my syringes?!?!
Ok so this might be a stupid question but I'm a few days out from starting my cycle and it just dawned on me i have no idea how to properly dispose of my syringes lol
Do i need a sharps container? I'm in Cali we have sites you can take them to but is that necessary?
Am i a dick if i just toss them in the trash? Contrary to my screen name I'm not a dick head so i wanna make sure i do it the right way...any advice would be greatly appreciated!

You need to check with your local environmental health services.
Since you're in California I imagine the laws are very strict.
In San Francisco you get fined for putting compostable material in the trash, and the city checks regularly.
Contrast that with a city like Philadelphia where you're told to place used syringes in a soda bottle or coffee can, tape the lid, wrap in newspaper and then throw it out with the regular trash.

As dumb as it sounds i was hoping it would be easier than i know its going to be, from what I've read i need a sharps container and have to dispose of them at a state approved site.
I just don't really want that kind of attention you know?
And do you throw the sharps box away and buy a new one each time? Clean it and reuse it? I think I'm over thinking this a little, its probably time to go to sleep.
Thanks for the quick help!

Buy a sharps container from your local pharmacy or online medical supply store. In Colorado, you can take them to a hospital or fire department (in sharps container) to have them properly disposed of. You MAY be able to throw out a full, sealed sharps container but I'm not 100% on that. The medical professionals at hospital or fire department are bound by HIPPA laws and have to respect your privacy, they can't ask you why or what your doing with a full sharps container...

This is similiar to what i do. I use an old protein container and make a small hole in the lid and use that as my sharps container. When it gets full I have the nice conveinence to take the container to work and then dispose of he sharps using one that is on an ambulance. When that gets full we then dispose that container at the hospitals.

For the most part, I think you can dispose of them at a local hospital or GP ('Medical Waste' is actually quite a big industry, they like to re-sell all of the fat sucked out of people). I'd double check in advance. If you're in the USA/Australia.. other western countries.. you can actually get a proper sharps tub from certain places given the prevalence of needle usage and our refusal to support shooting-rooms (backwards as fuck) . They put some money aside usually.. depends how rural you are.
I don't mean to sound like a douchebag, but if you can't afford a tub to throw your used needles into to prevent other people getting AIDS and Hep A-Z, then you probably shouldn't be pinning anything.

Thanks guys, i spent hundreds of dollars on a cycle, I'm thinking i can swing the $17 on a sharps container lol i truly appreciate the help though and after some more looking online i see that i can just take them to anyone of the local pharmacies and they'll dispose of them for me no big deal.
I had a feeling this was the case but i honestly just don't like the idea of having to go into a public place with evidence of me doing something thats not on the up and up, especially when these are the places i buy my ephedrine for my eca stacks, i doubt they care or would put much attention into it but you know its always better to be safe and aware of these things so i just wanted to see what you guys do to give me more ideas of what my options are.

Its not an issue of money, its more an issue of discretion. You're completely right if i cant afford a sharps box i shouldn't or should i say wouldn't be pinning anything simply because if i can't spend $20 on a container chances are i don't have the hundreds of dollars to spend on a cycle. All good though, i got my allowance and saved up from mowing lawns all summer and now i can go get those big shiny muscles I've been dreaming about! Lmao

Not sure how this became a matter of where i can find sharps containers but i appreciate all the help guys, I've got the materials all covered, this was more so about discreet disposal and not so much about obtaining the supplies/materials.
I have all the info i need, thanks again to everyone for your help!

Haha no worries man, i know where you were coming from i didn't take offense to it at all. And i live with my girl she already knows the deal so no need to hide shit, my discretionary purposes are more so from the nosey fucks wherever I'm gonna be dropping the needles off, but eh i guess its no big deal honestly, i tend to over analyze things especially when it comes to shit like this. I like to have every angle covered just incase

The secondary advice on government websites in Australia is to dispose of sharps in sealed off metallic containers (tin, aluminium cans, etc). You should be fine, 90% of material sent to recycling facilities is trashed anyway based on contamination.
(side note: Had to dump my ex because he hated that I drank more than once a week... would shit himself now if he saw my drawer of paraphernalia and vials. Count yourself lucky Fucker was going through my emails and trash too.
IMO True love is someone that will pin you in the ass and ask no questions.)

No! that isn't a smart idea beacuse when the trashman comes and emptys your trash it gets compacted in the truck. Many times to go too a tranfer station and emptied out.People work around it and walk on it and some have been stuck by these pins and it isn't hard sometimes to trace back.

IF you are using a 23 gauge or smaller pin and less than two inches, you can remove the pin from the syringe, replace the safety cover over the pin then remove the plunger from the syringe and place the shrouded pin in the barrel. The push the plunger into the barrel and squeeze/push the pin tight. Finally take some scissors and cut the plunger off so that the pin is secured in the barrel. It seems like a process but it takes about ten seconds. Anything over 22 gauge won't fit in the normal 3cc/ml barrel.

I just throw them into my neighbors backyard, their dogs chew them up. Lol. Totally just kidding, like everyone said you could dispose of them many ways. The safest being a sharps container.
