The other half of my shop has my tools, welders, oxy acetylene setup, reloading press, etc. Don't get me wrong. It took me years of searching used sports stores, EBay, CL, etc. to get what I have in the pic. No way I could afford all of that new at one time. Just prioritized the must haves from the like.to have items and kept my eyes peeled for ages.
There are several memebers that have nice setups. Kel has a really cool setup in his dungeon. My two car garage houses my tools,car and my weights. its a tight set up. I used to use a spare room for the weights but my mother moved in after not paying her rent.
Eventually I'll have a full gym with the nice posters of girls and a tv where no one is watching anything.

I have everything in my basement with heavybag and some more stuff in my garage.
I like having everything at home so I can save time not having to go to the gym and wait for what I need.
I still go to commercial gyms from time to time though too.

Too hooked on the sheer variety of equipment out there to limit myself to a home set-up. Don't like waiting for machines though & sometimes the ladies can be distracting (although haven't determined if that is more bad than good).

I don't think I could possibly give 100% in that environment. Between only wearing my underwear, blasting and lip syncing to taylor swift, yelling racial profanities, and being very anal about recovery time between sets. Working out is my time to get the fuck away from people and work out the frustration of being around idiots all day.
There is some equipment I'd like to have access to though so I've considered joining my local 24/7 gym and just going there at 2am. I figure anyone else there at that hour would be equally anti-social and understanding.

Home gym is all good and well when commercial machines is not an option. I do half split at home half at the gym especially when comes to really getting myself pushed hard.
Squat rack with pulley systems is all one really needs for good home setup
