Is there any chance for steroids to increase height or clavicle width at 22?
I am 5'7.75 and have a small body frame. Wrists are 7 inches. Ankles are 9.5 inches.
Honestly I will not be able to play sports or succeed in bodybuilding without an increase in these measureables. The same statement goes for girls. Besides that I can deal with it.
Now my question is this. I know that there is probably no chance for me to grow in height. However, is there a chance that my clavicle bones and other frame bones are not fused yet?
I did take arimidex for a year or so in my teens so maybe that prevented my clavicles from fusing? My estrogen was low for a while anyway.
I am going to run my first cycle of test only but maybe if I add other anabolics my frame will grow? Just wondering what your opinions are. I can't grow a full beard and I look young for my age as well. Or so I am told.

I will only run test only but I am wondering if it is possible to get taller or get a bigger body frame through other compounds.
The window is closing fast for me and I would love to get a bigger body frame. It is probably already too late for height anyway.

I'm 5'7" and can definitively tell you that the above statements are incorrect and a horrible way to attack life.
I've been very successful in every sport I've played.
Women are attracted to much more than height.
If you have problems meeting girls then you need to work on your personality, style and become a conversationalist.
Taking steroids bow is a horrible idea because you will stunt your growth not only vertically but your chest and shoulders will stop growing.
I stopped growing in height around your age but my chest and shoulders grew until I was about 24 or 25.
Using steroids now drastically increases the chance you will have life long side effects.
It would really suck if you messed up your natural test production now and had to be on TRT, injecting test twice a week, for the next 50+ years of your life.
If you think it's difficult to meet girls now then imagine how much more difficult it will be if you screw up your HTPA with steroids and can no longer have an erection.

As far as I know, the only compound that would have the desired effect is growth hormone and it must be administered in childhood.

Hey man thanks for the advice. I agree with you I am sure you do well. But in my case I cannot get girls and I have a great body. Now I think this also has to do with the average height in the area. I am exceptionally short in my area.
But anyway I don't think the testosterone will stop my frame growth if I block estrogen right? I already have low testosterone to begin with. I had bloods done and it came out to be 500.Last edited by aestheticsfirst; 02-23-2017 at 05:52 PM.

If you cannot meet girls you think are attractive then you need to work on your personality, lower your standards or both.
If you use steroids now, now matter what ancillaries is you use, you will stop growing and open yourself to the possibility of life long side effects.
As far as being dealt a bad genetics card you're only 5'7", that's not that short, things could be much worse.

You definitely have a point and are bringing up some valid points. I think I do need to lower my standards but they are pretty low right now.
Anyway at this point I do not think a test only cycle will fuse my growth plates, given that estrogen is what makes the growth plates fuse, and I will be blocking estrogen with aromatase inhibitors.
However, there is a an ominous possibility of having permanent side effects and that is a risk that I am willing to take. I will be taking all precautions necessary and I shouldn't have any issues.

You're an adult and can make your own decisions, even if they are bad decisions.
Your understanding of how the hormones work is flawed.
If you go through with this there is a very good chance you will screw up your natural hormone production for the rest of your life.
You should read some of the threads in the link below.

I have read through some of the threads on there and those are some pretty bad horror stories. I will think things through before I make my decision. Now one caveat here I wan to add is that none of those guys did a test only cycle and full pct. They added some other compounds it looks like, but you are right there are some risks involved I'll just have to research more.

FYI: 500 is not low testosterone
Also, I am 5' 7" myself and that doesn't hurt with the ladies very much.
And, as Numbere pointed out, you are still growing. You most probably will get thicker as you age. Taking steroids could very easily stunt your growth.
And, also, your HPTA is still maturing. Taking steroids can easily fuck that process up making it so you never reach your full potential.

Doing aas at your age will mess you up no matter wat you do.Your Endo system is not fully developed yet. This is why you don't want too cycle at this age.And you can get as big as you want if girls don't like you it's beacuse you are doing something wrong. And don't be in a hurry to make things happen when the time is right it will all fall in place.Don't act needy women hate that.

I think you need to look a little deeper here, it sounds like you have created a inferiority complex in your head and no matter what you do physically you will not escape it. You need to embrace yourself and what you are with positivity. Be the best you can be and stop trying to measure up to anyone else. This is your life and you only get one so make it good. I believe it is your confidence and self doubt holding you back nothing else. Good luck!

Taking steroids will fuse your plates and stunt your growth, no need to argue with the obvious.

Ok honestly this is not just about girls. I also want be a "big" guy. That's my main concern for worrying about this. Anyway I will think of the safest way to address this. Maybe I can't get taller but I can sure as hell get bigger.

Remember it's not a sprint it's a marathon so build your base and learn about diet and training. Diet is the most crucial part of the formula.

So it's not like you're some tiny dude or something. Some frames are better for looking jacked up. In my avatar I was 229lbs im 6'2" a lot of people think I was skinny. Im bigger now but I'm never going to look like a body builder with 80" reach. I don't care I love my body.

Bro my problem isn't muscle building genes, mine are quite good actually. My problem is the actual structure underneath. It is not good for sports but honestly like others said it isn't that bad for bodybuilding. We'll see how I respond to steroids . Maybe I have a good response. Hopefully bodybuilding is my calling.

Yes but you dwarf those bodybuilders and will look bigger than them in person. 6'2 230-250 lbs is massive in person. In my case honestly I just need to accept it but maybe I can still do well in bodybuilding. We will see I am going to keep working hard and try the test only cycle. Besides I think my wrists will thicken up from lifting anyway.

The funny thing is even at 265 I don't see myself as that big. The mind never adjusts. People try to put that in perspective for me sometimes but it's hard to grasp. I'm just getting into my full routine again after moving cities and now I'm looking forward to what I can do but I'm no where near the shape I was before. I know I owe myself some gruelling gym time.

Yeah brother I was called out in the gym for being small and weak that's why I am getting self conscious but whatever man I need to keep working hard. Bodybuilding is mostly genetics but I do have genetics for strength at least.
I am gonna shut the haters up but I do need to work my way up to a 6 plate deadlift 5 plate squat and 4 plate bench.
It will take time and I need to put in the work.

I hear you on the haters,
Fuck them.
Its not about how much, I pride myself on being 150lbs and able to easily bench twice my weight.
For a 250lb man to do that,he needs to get 500 lbs.
Not many can, a lot, but not most.
I've got it too, but I like to by walk over to the dumbbell rack and grab a dumbbell 10 lbs heavier and rep it cleaner and with better form than the snarky 210lb assholes.
Real men, don't talk down to others or try to make someone feel like shit, bullies do.
There's a saying scarface the rapper said in a song in the I'd, I live my life by it.
"Real killers don't check nuts, because they know they got em"

I agree that you have the wrong mindset. I'm 5' 6.5" and I've been an athlete all my life. I could run cycles around all the jocks in high school and after. I graduated high school at 125lbs. and I'm now 200lbs. I can tell you height has less to do with meeting a woman than you think. Confidence is the biggest thing that will attract women. We all go thru stages of insecurity and self doubt but when you get over that things will improve.

Ok honestly it's not so much inferiority but it's that i want to compete. But I can only really compete against guys in my weight class because bigger guys can lift more by default.
I'm glad to be able to work harder than ever and good things are in store.

I like to think as a short guy we may have some advantages as well. 15lbs on a 5ft frame looks a lot more impressive then on a 6.5ft frame.

Why do you think there are weight classes in power lifting? Just like boxing and mma there are weight classes and champion for each weight class. You might not ever qualify for a worlds strongest man competition but who cares? You want to go for pound for pound strength like others noted a 300lb Bench press by a 150lb man is a lot more impressive than a 400lb bench press by a 250lb man. I came up short of 400 even at a lean 250, I got to 395 then hurt my right wrist going for 405. I have never strength trained like that since it happened 7 years ago but I think it may be time now.

Being short you also have an advantage on lifting heavier. Your lower center of gravity is perfect for strength. I've lifted with tall partners and they were always envious of the quick smoothness of my lifts, how little effort it took to get parallel or a little further and come back up before they can even lower the bar.
The female thing is all confidence. We've all seen the chubby or ugly kid with the hot girl. It's not money or big dick, it's personality. I guarantee that chubby kid is funny as shit and makes her laugh. Most hot girls don't want to be with a guy that's good looking as a shitty personality and attitude come with it. Confidence is the key. Watch some videos of Russell Brand who is ugly as hell, and watch how he makes them laugh. Some of his pickup vids from back in the day are quite entertaining and may give you some pointers.

The reason you don't see yourself as big has to do with your subconscious internal image. Usually this is developed at an early age and is hard to change. I am in the same situation, I was tall and skinny when in my teens. I am now 6 feet tall 220lbs, and I don't feel bigger, it seems that everyone is smaller. I still get a bit of a shock sometimes when I see myself in the mirror beside someone else. It is related to anorexia in that some people see themselves as fat in spite of what the mirror tells them...we see ourselves as smaller...

Yeah I will compete in my weight class and I think I can win but there is more of a wow factor with the bigger guys if you know what I mean. In your case you are 6'2 265 lbs which is amazing. You must look absolutely massive in person. I have already been putting up videos of me lifting and people are shocked at how small I look in person. Now size is not just height but also hand size wrist size clavicle breadth and foot size. But hgh is not going to make any of my extremities bigger at this point.
I am also not going to get taller at this point so it is just fantasizing anyway. There might be a fraction of a chance that I might grow width wise but even that is being wishful. I might as well work on my powerlifting, remain disciplined and stay focused on my other goals. I sleep on time everyday, eat no junk food and follow my gym routine religiously. I wish I had the same mentality at an earlier age but it is what it is.
If I win my powerlifting meet this fall I will be satisfied. I am working my ass off and there is no time for games. Now the cycling will help me lift more but I need to decide whether risking my health is worth winning a competition.
But I have read the results from a test only cycle and I strongly believe that I will be able to add 75lbs to my bench and 150 lbs to my squat and deadlift in a 15 week test only cycle. Maybe even more.
