My First Cycle Experience
I am 47 years old. 5'9 and was 181 lbs when I started my first cycle on the 20th of Feb 2017. I have worked out regularly for the past 20 plus years but would not consider my self (nor do I look uber fit). On Feb 20th I was around 18 percent body fat, which I thought was "ok" for a 47 year old dad of 3 with a full time job. I had the opportunity to talk with men my age who also started their first cycle later in life and I received some excellent advice and words of caution.
I started my first cycle strictly for reasons on vanity, I wanted to look better and at 47 the hard work at the gym didn't seem to be keeping up with the effects of aging. My wife suggested I was having a mid life crisis and considering I bought a new sports car the first week of Feb she maybe right. She was ok with me running a cycle as long and the car and the steroids did not lead to a mistress.
I chose a simple Test E only cycle with arimidex and HCG to keep things running smoothly. I decided a 10 week cycle of 500 test E a week broken up into two injections was my preference.
The past four weeks have been interesting to say the least. The easiest part of the whole process is the actual injections. I take my time sterilize the heck out of everything and so far besides a sore ass I am doing fine. I have had to use get my wife's help with the left side injections. i am just not flexible enough to reach around to the left hold the needle aspirate it and then slowly inject it. My wife refuses to do the injection but one I get it stuck in she is fine with the rest.
On the third week I thought I would give the glutes a brake and try a thigh injection. OUCH! The injection went fine no negative side effects expect my leg was so sore I was limping for 4 days and had to skip my leg workouts for whole week. The pain was similar to what I used to feel after a killer leg day when I had not worked out for a while. During my third week i started to see what I believe where symptoms from a lack of estrogen so I lowered by arimidex from 1/2 pill twice a week to a 1/4 pill twice a week. So far that seems to be working nicely.
Note for the new people. ...make sure you buy a vial to mix your HCG in. I had my bacturostatic (SP?) water and the vial of HCG but no place to mix the proper 5ml ratio.
Biggest Tip I wish I had of known earlier: Massage, Massage , Massage. Mid way through week three i starting massaging the area for about 3 to 5 mins after the injection. It has made a considerable difference to how sore the site is and for how long. I even went out a bought a massage that I can roll over the area to ensure I am getting a good massage.
Downside: I am paranoid about every ache and pain. Every headache I worry I have an infection and every time i cough I worry I hit a vein during my last injection. I am ultra sensitive to any testicle pain and if I don't wake up with wood I immediately think something is wrong. i don't the fears control my but they are always there lingering in the back of my mind.
RESULTS: I feel like I am 20 years old again. I am working out longer and not getting tired. I have gained 6 lbs and still lost an inch off my waist at the same time. Across the board what I am pushing is up about 10% a decent increase in 4 weeks. I actually started losing a little weight last week and had to start supplementing my diet with a MASS gain powder. I have more energy. I don't need as much sleep and I have more wood than my wife wants to deal with. Although I am not seeing any muscular definition my shirts are fitting a little snugger across the chest and arms. My wife is also commenting that I have started to "thicken" and that my shoulders are really looking great.

KIT: 23 gauge 1" needles for injecting and a 20 gauge needle for filling the syringe. Test E - 250 twice a week (Sundays and Wednesdays), I am now taking 1/4 tab of arimidex twice a week. I also inject 25 of HCG twice a week (Monday's and Fridays.)
