Why only do test prop for 8 weeks?

I will be starting a test prop, npp cycle her in a couple of weeks. I see a lot of people only running 8 weeks. Would someone explain the reasoning behind this? I had everything planned out for 12.

Are you running a pre-cycle prime?
    The Prime explained before cycling..

How many times have you ran short esters? Personally I like frontliading my test and NPP and literally by wk 6 I can feel things slowing down growth wise... 8wks is plenty of your working hard enough and your diet is on point!

You can leave it open ended but if sides creep and gains slow head into PCT, imho! It's all dependent on the individual I've ran it 12wks 10wks and it seems it's a waste to keep going in my experience past 8wks - plus if your actually going to true positive failure, static failure and negative failure(all 3 phases of a lift) you'll force growth as long as your using progressive overload each wk!

I'd rather run short esters as your in and out and starting PCT! We've all stayed on longer than we'd have liked... why when you can re-prime your body for more growth and get BW to show you've recovered(time on + PCT = time off) then go again etc! Just what I've learned and you'll learn what works best for you... also backload say winny(if you've ran it b4) and BAM you got a nice strong finish as well or drol

I like this thread. totally in my ballpark.

So these short Prop cycles, (8 weeks) -Question

Does a guy on HRT have a high dose (250mg / pin / E-3rd day) for 8 weeks then drop back down to his HRT level dose using the (time on + PCT = time off) method? this seems to only pertain to Prop and other short esters, but i wonder about the best recommended time spent on longer esters.

how about test E and Tren E; what are the best cycle lengths here when the two are used together?

You should start a new thread for that question and go on into detail on what type of HRT your on and what you you would like to know.

So in a 8 week cycle do I stop the npp short (say at six weeks) ? Does PCT still need to be run 4 weeks? Sorry for all the questions but I'd like to make the most out of this cycle.

OK you could run the test to week 9, and start pct 3 days after but I'd stop npp and test at the same time then start pct 3 days after

HCG Starts day 1. Alongside your AI. PCT will be 6 weeks, but clomid/nolva for 4 weeks and then just nolva for the last 2 weeks; this is usually done with a 19-nor.

Yh that should be fine but to ensure maximum recovery starts hcg from week 1 what AI are you using? And I don't see any need in running nolva for an extra 2 weeks but I'm open to a theory..

Just what Nach told me and a few other threads I've read. I have no experience, just going off what the vets say.
