Used test-c to fight muscle wasting, seeking advice coming off/pct

    Hi,
    Age 34, 5'9", 125 lbs

I've been battling muscle wasting from ulcerative colitis for 5 years, tried all kinds of drugs for the colitis nothing worked. I got the bleeding under control 2 years ago by coming off all pharm.'s and working on my diet with a naturopath, but the wasting has continued. This year has been brutal, wasted down to 110 lbs, got so weak I tore my shoulder rolling out of bed one morning. Pain was enough that I had to go back on pain killers again which inflames my gut. I was bed ridden for over a month and shoulder wasn't healing. So my doctor suggested testosterone to "kickstart" me back to life, with the reasoning that all my blood work has been great, except my test levels, which the doctor said were "in the low range of normal" (last few before I started test-c were in the 375-500 range)

I've been getting 100mg test-c injections once a week for 4 weeks now, with no other drugs. It worked, and I've gone from 110 lbs to 125 lbs, come off the painkillers, my shoulder has full range of motion again, and my gut has calmed down significantly.

Yesterday when I got my 4th shot I pressed the doctor on what the plan was for getting off, as I had been reading up on the side effects and need for pct etc. Doctor said let's change to once a month injections through the summer and see how that goes, and didn't know what pct or cycle or anything I brought up meant. At that point it hit me pretty hard that this doctor might not know what they're doing when it come to testosterone. Test-c once a month doesn't make any sense to me because of the half-life, but I'm far from knowledgable in this subject. When I started the test-c shots I was so desperate and exhausted that I didn't research anything. Now that I'm functioning, the more I read the more confused and worried I'm getting.

So I'm thinking I should just stop now, because I'm out of the wasting danger zone/death spiral and should be able to maintain my weight again now that I can use my shoulder, but I don't know how to do it properly. I'm worried about my test levels dropping severely when I do stop, and how to get my natural levels back.

    TL;DR
Is PCT necessary/beneficial for a 4 week 100mg/week test-c cycle? Will I recover natural test production?
Any other advice on my situation is welcome too.

    Thanks for your help

Yes bad idea , at most as far as time between injections for test cyp would be 18 days , for that's how long the esters 1/2 life is . But more importantly I would take the above advice and see an endocrinologist, or ask your family dr for advice on why his other dr is giving you not so good treatment . Bad advice I'm surprised that came from a DR .

Sustanon250 was actually made for just your condition so people suffering from wasting disease would have min injections per month with the most amount of protection for there muscles . Research that and it may help you understand a little more about your injections.
