TRT to cycling or longterm???
How does a person combine being a TRT guy with cycling...safely. I can't find a post that is specific to this.
I was/am a TRT for 8 years and saw body fat drop. Its been five years in the gym now, diet is solid, and I want to safely take more and benefit from it. I'm not sure if I need to cycle since my boyz are dead anyway, but know HCT, BP and many other health issues could result from simply upping the test cyp dose.
49 years old, ex football player and prior user, 26 years later and here I am. Boyz are dead, but it was injury related not Test related. Diet is solid, workout is consistent for 5 years. Body fat is down to 15% and I'd like it lower but also am jumping to increase the dose. But how? What to watch for and for how long can I do this.
I have at the ready, Several 10ml bottles of Test Cyp, HCG (Offically the boyz aren't totally dead, but nearly) HCG has helped and seems to help me with mood swings as levels rise and fall within the week, Liquidex, needles, alcohol swabs, and even have Clomid but not sure why that would help me with dead boyz.
Ideally, I'd like a link to a thread that has discussed this with how to do it right, or, someone lay out a sample cycle for a TRT person or way to do this even longterm safely. I thought about just increasing the dose and watch the BW for concerns and act accordingly...but can I do that long term? What do I watch? How long? Somebody must be in my shoes out there.

Okay, got that. But, do I have to cycle at all? If so, why? Maybe a lower dose say 350 and stay on or maybe go longer than normal like 3-4 months then get off?

Damn, I was hoping for a get out of jail free card. Being TRT I should get one right...AHHH. Thanks.

Being on TRT already is a huge step compared to not being on it (as far as muscle gains and shit). Cycling is important even on TRT, time on 'cycle' = time off 'cycle'. So, 12 weeks on high dose test then 12 weeks on normal level test. Whereas if you weren't on TRT, you'd be looking at 12 weeks on, 2 week break, 4 week PCT, 18+ week recovery.... and that recovery time sucks balls big time.

Okay, so a perk of sorts.
Another question: Cyp vs Porp vs Ethanate.
Life spans are different and I know that but why might I select something other than Cyp? Or is that a huge can of worms question wise?

Prop only lasts for 3 days, very short ester. Cyp and Enth are literally the same. None of them are better, they are all test. Depends how much u want to inject... ED/EOD, or E3.5D.... Most choose E3.5Ds (cyp/enth).

I'm 50+ and been on TRT of about 10 years. My TRT is 150mg/wk of Test Cyp. When I cycle, I just pin 500mg/wk for 12 weeks and then drop back down to 150mg/wk. It's pretty simple. I check my blood and when I'm back to "normal" I cycle again. I run probably 3 cycles in 2 years. The main thing that seems to rise for me is my my hematocrit. When that goes down into the normal range, I cycle.

My HCT tends to rise fast too.I donate blood and that helps.
I'm wondering how being on TRT affects BW. Since we never go off and continue to inject exo-genous testosterone how accurate are tests when "off cycle". Like FSH LH etc? Is there a link on this site to TRT cycling and BW I'm not seeing

Some guys have to donate blood on TRT, but to be honest most could probably titrate their dose down slightly and seldom if ever have to donate. The only real issue to worry about is Hema as you previously noted. Exogenous testosterone is bio-identical to what your body used to produce on it's own. Not really sure what you mean when "off cycle" as TRT is continuous. LH/FSH will basically zero out when on TRT which is normal. There's no need to test them unless considering a restart attempt.

I'm cycling within my TRT, well this was my first. So base TRT was 200 mg/wk then went to 500 for 12 weeks. Now I'm dropping back to 150 since my TT was very high...pegged at 1500. HCT was 52.4. hemoglobin was right at high end of normal range. So when I said "off cycle" I meant not during the 12 weeks but when I was at the base TRT dose. And, I'm really asking are there other BW tests I can discard since I am on TRT beyond FSH And LH...maybe save some cash on testing is my hope...?
