    Calf spot injections

Has anyone used calf injections successfully and if so what did you use?

I would avoid calves. I know they seem a easy place to poke but I tried 1 ml test one time and it made my calf sore swole and red for about three days. I won't do that again.

I hit calves at least once a week. I used both oil (Cyp) and water (Winny) based AS with no problems. Make sure you rub the area after the injection and then stretch out the calves after your done.

Cheers fellas, I hope I can perk mine up a bit because being 6 ft 3 is a disadvantage anyway and mine are like most, absolute b*stards to build, even though I prioritise them and mix up reps.

I don't inject in the calves because I think it will make them grow I do it because I do ED injections and don't want to build up scar tissue.

Hopefully it works out for you.

Everyone is different I inject stretched or flexed but not relaxed... and always pinpoint...
I put my heel on the floor and my toes against the wall and bend over the leg I'm injecting.

I use 25g.... some time drawing and injecting but easy for me... once you have a build up of scar tissue you might start going to a smaller needle too.
    Good luck...

Calves are a great to hit. I put EQ, Test-e and Tren in them. I try to rotate inside and outside heads. I have had one bad inject in the calves. I put 2cc of EQ in my right calve and it was sore as a mofo the next couple of days, then my leg from the calve down swole up for a couple of days. Its all good now though.

Sounds like I'm good to go. I will possible have more chance of hitting a vein but aspirating etc should be a lot easier than my glutes

Calves are a piece of cake... the sworeness is probably just being caused by your injection method or lack of stretching/rubbing afterwards. Personally I hate delts - makes my arms hurt when I lower then to my sides atleast until the oil settles in.

Curious - anyone know if calves can handle 2cc's? I'm just wondering how some bro's can do 2cc injections ED without hitting themselves twice (excluding glutes/quads of course).

I personally wouldn't go more than 1 1/2 CCs in my delts, bis, tris, or calves. I'm doing ED injects now. Twice a week, I do 2 CCs but only in the quads/glutes. I did some 3CC shots before but like you said, I broke it up into 2 shots of 1 1/2CCs. That's a lot of juice for one muscle and if you aren't Ronnie Coleman's size, that will be one sore spot later on.

I tend to believe that it all has to do with the size of your calves, or any other muscle group for that matter. I have always had decent sized calves (17.5") and I hit them with 1-2cc every 3 days?

Mine are about 17-17.5 but being tall they could do with being about 20!

If i put half a load into each calve would it be advisable to change pins?

YES! A pin should only be used for a single puncture....

Have you ever used Winny before as I am having a few doubts on my Zambons? Please see post below

I'm shootin' my calves in my current cycle. First few times made 'em as sore as hell. I shoot up to 2ccs but make sure I only hit 'em once a wk.
