    Enlarged heart growth symptoms

    Hi . I am 38 years old with 15 years power lifting and fitness experience. Last week i went a hopital for cardiograpy for shortness of breath and doctor said me that i have heart growth symptoms. Stop lifting and cycles or die soon . What do you think ?

    All the males on my fathers side of the family have had multiple heart attacks. Except my father, who had a confirmed enlarged heart years and years ago... go figure....

    I think I would work with a cardiologist and make sure my risk factors were in line (BP, cholesterol, etc.) and get sorted. A good doc isn't going to tell you to stop lifting unless you're symptomatic or with known cardiac/arterial disease. Get the full check up and get a good doc - an internist as well as cardiologist.

    I have found that enlarged heart symptoms depend on what country you are in. In China I have enlarged heart pancreas and etc. In the USA none of these. For enlarged heart they are going to do as said above. Treat basic blood results.
