Left Arm Tennis Elbow - TB500 and Anavar Question

Left Arm Tennis Elbow - TB500 and Anavar Question

I have tendinitis in my Left Arm, left lateral tendon near my elbow.

It started about two months ago.

I think I tweaked it bench pressing and it's got progressively irritated since then.

I noticed it was sore pretty soon after it happened. I did the usual. Iced it twice a day and rested it. Took about two weeks off from lifting.

It was feeling fine, but as soon as I put some weight on the Left arm that tendon started aching.

    I started Two 1/2 weeks ago on TB500 2.5mg 2 x a week.
Also I've been taking a collagen supplement, OTC Vitamin, supposed to help with Type 1 & 2 Collagen types.

I have used TB500 before, about a year ago.

It was for my Right arm, same type of elbow injury, but I hurt it during a Martial Arts class. Probably bent it too far in a direction it didn't like. That time I didn't feel it until the next day.

Last week I did a Chest workout, machine bench press and machine flys. Seemed fine, a little stiff afterwards.

Yesterday I did a Tricep - Bicep workout. Tricep Machine and Cable Press down, didn't notice any stiffness.

The problem came when I tried to do incline dumbbell curls.

It provides a really good stretch to the bicep. My left arm instantly didn't like it at all. Immediate pain and hard time straightening the arm out.

I took a little rest and tried single arm, back to the machine cable curls. The left arm was a little stiff at first, but it loosened up and I was able to do four sets each arm.

It was sore on the way home and last night. Iced it for about 20 minutes.

When I took TB500 before I took 2.5mg 2 x a week for 5 weeks and 2 doses a Month for 2 Months as a maintenance. It seemed to work well. I would say 90% healed rate. The only problem the left is a lot more sore than the right was.

My question is, I read that Anavar is good for tendons. I've never taken it before. Not sure if you can take Anavar and TB500 at the same time? Has anyone noticed an improvement after taking Anavar?

    Thanks!!

    Good question

My elbow/tendon has been fucking up lately and looking for a fix other than ice/heat compress or taking it easy on the overhead/press work....

Anavar is well known for collagen synthesis. Burn victims, road rash, etc benefit greatly with anavar under Dr supervision. Tendon repair, while might sound like an oxymoron based off of what I just said, wouldn't benefit much off of anavar. Would it help? Maybe. But the thing to consider is, at what cost? It's still a c17 substance, so there is hepatoxicity to consider, as well as testosterone suppression. And how long would you run it? A 6 weeker would be ok, but any benefit from the anavar would be a masking of the issue, not a cure. So you're ruining a risk of actually doing more damage due to over exerting yourself and not knowing until its too late. I've done this many times with prednisone.
I would stick to Dr's orders with this one and don't self medicate. TB500 was a good decision on your part, as far as self medicating. Non suppressive and its being studied for exactly this kind of use. However, the first time you tried it, you didn't do a proper protocol. TB500 is just like other peptides in that it's designed for long term treatment. I've used it and I love it. I am comfortable in saying you could give it another go. But dont neglect seeing a Dr because if it's bad enough for you to consider using a steroid , it's bad enough to see a Dr.
Last thing. If I were to use any steroid (not including prednisone or cortisone) for tendonitis, or any related injury, would be nandrolone . Don't mistake me for recommending this because I am not. I'm only saying that if I were going to risk suppression or shutdown, I would use a compound that is well known for joint relief. Deca won't suppress your natural testosterone production, it will flat out stop all production in as little as one dose. Go see a Dr and don't keep delaying it! Lol. Us men are so hard headed that by the time we finally go see a Dr, it's too late.

    Thanks for the detailed information!!

I'll stick to the TB500 only. I've read in several places that the protocol for TB500 is 4 to 6 weeks.

For my Right arm I did actually go and get an X-ray. They said it was just inflammation.

The Left feels pretty much like the Right did so I don't feel like another X-ray is necessary.

Don't do any exercises that even remotely irritate your bicep, especially something with an exaggerated stretch. Find an exercise or two and just use a lighter rehab weight, higher reps and minimal sets. Don't hurt yourself further by pushing to hard to fast. I'm recovering from a partial distal bicep tear myself and so far this has worked great for me.

    Try Voodoo flossing it.

My elbow was chronic for around 3 months until I found out about flossing.

It still gives me a bit of trouble but I'd say it's easily 80% better. I've gone from not being able to finish a set of chins to going through a full back and bi's session without any issues.

No meds required just some crazy tight rubber bands!!

No problemo buddy! I think many of those protocols are either outdated or just guesses. It can get pricey but if it is working and you can afford it, keep going. Keep in mind that the majority of the peptides we get from research chem sites are still in human trials. Many are not even to that point yet (possible conspiracy......?). So you definitely want to study up. But TB500 has been around for a while now and there are so many people benefiting from it. I've seen fibromyalgia patients do a complete 180 in only a few months! If you know much about fibro, you'll know that's a major deal. Keep us posted with how things progress.
And listen to Kel on the training! Look at that guts legs. You know he knows his stuff. You don't see 86 year old men with muscles like that often

Yeah, the first time I used it for my Right Elbow I used it for 5 weeks 2.5mg 2 x a week followed by 2.5mg every two weeks for 2 months. Most peptides sites I use run weekend coupon codes so that helps some.

It didn't fully heal for me until I did my first month of maintenance. Then it was like Wow this feels good.

Yeah, learned the hard way quick when I tried Incline Dumbbell Curls. Thanks for the tip! I'll avoid biceps exercises for a few more weeks.

Triceps exercises feel fine, Bench Press Machine have to warm up several sets, but that's doing better too. Haven't tried any shoulder exercises recently.

Forgot to add. I have tried Voodoo flossing on it a few times when it first happened, used an ace bandage, it did help with stiffness and range of motion. Did some Gua Sha Massage on it, picked up a flat piece of jade about the size of a cell phone for $10 Ebay, that helped with stiffness too.
I think these are good helpers, but the TB500 is the way to go.

I've had really great luck with TB500 and know it's not placebo effect because I doubted it sincerely when starting. I used it 2.5/wk x 6 or 7 wks and then maintenance at 2 x/mo. It eradicated tennis elbow.
I was going to say I wouldn't personally do any AAS just for joint/musculoskeletal problems but I did get so desperate with a nasty knee issue I did an NPP/test cycle with half the intent of helping the knee.

Definitely not a placebo. I can compare the Right and Left Elbows, did prior TB500 treatment on the Right, and the Right is Healed.

With the Right I waited 2 1/2 months before I discovered posts on TB500. It would of already healed on it's own if all it took was resting it.

Gotta pick up 4 more bottles. Push the Treatment to 7 weeks with 2 months maintenance. The Left is a lot more messed up then the Right one was.
