Hey guys. I am an amateur boxer that needs help starting my first cycle. I am not looking to bulk but lean and cut while building strength and wind.
As far as conditioning is concerned I was extremely conditioned. My training regime is as follows
Heavyweight Class
Running three times a weeks for at least 30 min
Training 5 times a week to include
5 rounds shadow boxing
4 rounds ring work
6 rounds heavy bag
3 rounds speed (may include pads)
3 rounds jump rope ( every time I miss I have to do either push-ups, up downs, pull ups - you get the drift. All while continuously moving
Normal three minute rounds with 30 seconds rest
Twice a week On sparring days I spar 6-10 rounds regular with 1 minute rest.
My wife cooks my food which consists of proteins and vegetables. No bread only corn tortillas.
You may say why do you need it then? I have been out the game for about a month and a half due to an ulcer. Now I am ready to get back but my body is fighting me. I do not consume sweets or processed foods. I do eat a lot of fruits and blended fruits. Finally, I don't drink protein shakes either
