    I have some questions:

I am not sure if this is the right section, but if a mod sees this I would appreciate it if you could just move this to the appropriate section rather than deleting the thread. If this is the correct section, then good. Anyway...

A little back story, I play a relatively new and sort of underground sport called freestyle soccer/football (whatever you wanna call it in your country.) To grossly oversimplify it, is basically doing tricks with a ball. Since the sport is somewhat new the limits are constantly being pushed. Right now people are pondering whether or not a 4 revolution trick is possible. A 4 revolution trick is kicking the ball and going around it with your leg 4 times. Here is an example of someone attempting it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oX2hRD9glkc. No one has ever come that close to landing it before, and this guy hasn't had any close attempts for over half a year now. It looks like he can do it if he just attempts it more, but that last 1% of the trick is 90% of the work. If any of you were wondering, that isn't me in the video that I linked by the way.

Now on to my question. I don't know if I ever would take drugs to help me land this trick, but it is something that I am thinking about. I can make about 3 1/2 - 3 3/4 revolutions around the ball, I feel as if one day I will be close to landing it. Keep in mind that no one in the world has ever landed it before, it is a HUGE deal. Would steroids help? I know pretty much nothing about steroids except the fact that it makes you stronger. I definitely would not get into it as uninformed as I am, but it is something I would like to know about. Maybe if I were to train for a year or two more and get as close as the guy in the video I linked I would use steroids for the extra push to land the trick, or maybe use steroids while I am training to improve faster and eventually land it? Or would steroids not help at all? I know it helps with cycling so it would make sense, but I want to hear from people with experience with it.

I don't see how anything you take would help you with that. Keep practicing. You'll get it one day.

    Have a powerful day.

Do you think lifting and progressive to heavy lifting targeting legs and hip extensors would help increase fast twitch efficiency to a noticeable effect?

Do explosive execises only. Powercleans, weighted sit ups, push ups, and run with weights on your legs etc..
You need power bursts of energy for relatively shorter amounts of time. Don't get too crazy with weights. High reps and calisthenics are your answer.

I honestly don't know. I just don't see how anyone could possibly turn this exercise into advice. But I'm listening. It's an abnormal movement and to me, all you need is to be really thin (skinny) and fast. Obviously the longer your legs are the better your chances at this.

The only possible chemical substance of benefit available might work to increase the mind-muscle connection. However, it is just as likely, or more likely, to impede your efforts.
The most useful substance would enhance our enjoyment of the journey toward the goal. In reality, once we reach a goal, we become lost. Home is the only place that, when reached, is better than the path.

It might help. Or you might put on some mass that youve never had and hold you back. I dont know your body type. Bigger question is it worth the risks involved. If your not a weight lifter then it seems silly to me to do a cycle and shut down your hpta just for 1 soccer trick.
Now if you wanted to learn about lifting and steroids and enjoy the lifestyle long term, thats a different story. Anabolics is a very long marathon. Not meant for overnight miracles. All in all it doesnt sound like steroids are your answer. It was a good read though, i liked the post enough to rant just now lol.

Use a cane or a walking stick. It works well for me.
There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...
