Blood Test Question...urgent
I had started a cycle of dbol but after 3 days had stopped because I had a blood test coming up. I took 2 pills daily for 3 days and my last dose was about a week or ten days ago. The blood test will be looking at testosterone etc.
My question is since I took only a handful of pills, how long should I wait before I can take the blood test to get reasonably accurate results? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is the test for detection of AAS or for test levels? What are the results going to be used for if just testing for levels?

I'm 45 and my doc thinks I might have sleep apnea and/or some kind of prostate issue (due to the kinds of symptoms I'm having) so the blood test is to check testosterone and creatinine among other things...

They don't run testosterone tests for sleep apnea. If they do anything, it would be CBC (Complete blood count) and in the rare occasion, a CMP (comprehensive metabolic panel).
If you took dbol only, you will not get any results showing testosterone. In fact, if you do pull testosterone levels your level would be plummeted.
You are not getting a steroid test.~ PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR SOURCE CHECKS ~

^^^^ Yep, if anything your test levels will be low because of the dbol , and possibly high estrogen levels. No idea on just 3 days of it how you will be affected, however. I wouldn't think it would affect any other labs at this point. You can always ask for a repeat in a month as well and if your test is low it may trend toward baseline in 4 wks for a better read.

Thanks for the replies. But I'm still not sure how long I should wait? I've NOT had the test yet, I was hoping I would get some advice and then decide whether a week or 2 would be long enough to wait, given that I only took a few pills.
And as for the test itself-it's really a secondary consideration. I know for a fact that the test will look at testosterone and creatinine will be looked at because I read the test order lol. The question is: Given that I only took a few pills and that was now almost 2 weeks ago, how long should I wait before getting the test to get as normal a result as possible?
And I appreciate that TrailRun suggested the idea that I could just ask for a retest, that is a good idea but I am also trying not to arouse the doctor's suspicions. (I don't look like a steroid user)

Looking at testosterone levels is not indicative of taking steroids unless you're taking testosterone and you are at supra-physiological levels. I think you're confusing a Steroid Test, vs a Testosterone level test. 2 completely different things.
Without understanding the difference you will likely just be frustrated with the replies. I'll try to give you time several answers, hopefully one might answer your question.
Dbol is detectable in blood up to 6 weeks. But only if they test for Dbol.
Dbol does not show up in a exogenous-testosterone-detection test.
Dbol does not show up in a testosterone blood level test.
Dbol lowers your natural testosterone levels.
Your natural testosterone levels will be slightly lower for several weeks after stopping Dbol before returning to homeostasis. This is however, individualistic. Some don't come back fully, some take longer, some shorter. This cannot be quantified.
You're probably fine taking the test in a week or 2 being that you only took a couple doses.~ PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR SOURCE CHECKS ~

Perfect! Thank you austinite, that's the info I needed, thank you very much. Thank you TrailRun for the help too. I'll sit tight for a couple more weeks and then get the test and go from there.
There is TONS of info on this site too, so I'm going to hang around and see what I can learn. Are there any other "old guys" on here? lol...I'd hate to be the only one
Thanks again & take care.

Yeah, there are some "old guys" on here. I'm 56. There's a few solid vets over 50 and I would imagine quite a few in your age range. There are some incredibly knowledgeable people here, like austinite and some others. Welcome and stick around. Read the sticky notes at the beginning of the forums - tons of good info in there as well.
