Sequel Question: Low T so now what?

I posted a question a few weeks ago asking how long I should wait to get an honest result checking testosterone after having just barely starting a new cycle.

I have had that test and the results were not great. My Testosterone was 5.4...so now I'm going to be offered replacement therapy injections. So my question is this:

Can I take dbol and get these injections at the same time or is that not good? Any help would be appreciated. (I'm 45 male and in good shape otherwise...)

Don't be so quick to jump on TRT.
You were taking dbol a couple of weeks before your blood work.
I would get retested in a month or so.

Why the love affair with dbol???

How can you obtain valid results if you pulled BW after just starting a cycle?

I should have explained better...sorry. I had started a new cycle after 6 months or so off. But I had only taken (literally) a handful of pills before I learned I needed to get tested. So I took about 3 weeks off and then took the test, so I believe they are very close to 100% accurate. I have no need to take dbol either way, I'm just curious as to weather or not there are any interactions that I should know about before I decide what to do.

Still worthy of a retest as mentioned above. The first thing done in most instances with abnormal labs is to retest them to confirm, and especially since you took AAS and don't know for certain what was in it or the strength. Why not repeat in 4 wks or so and post results?

I am surprised just one test. I had numerous ones. Everything that was questionable resulted in new sets of tests.
I would be careful at first taking AAS because you will probably have frequent testing until your dosage is dialed in.

I'm not an avid user and so I'm not up on all the lingo...so let me just clarify. I had started a new cycle but only took 4 or 5 pills over 2 or 3 days before I went to the doctor, complained about a lack of energy and some e.d. He then ordered the blood test to check testosterone . I'm not really worried about dosing vs. testosterone levels because I just don't know what I'm doing enough to consider that right now. Is it possible to take dbol AND testosterone injections at the same time? That's what I'm trying to understand, even though that might seem overly simple to you guys & gals.

Actually it is recommended that you always have a test base because AAS will lower your testosterone levels .
I personally do not recommend any cycle without testosterone .

Well there's another problem then. I was told that dbol was a good choice for me as a "beginner". I've been into fitness all my life since I was a teen. But I'd never taken anything until I was 40. Is there a better choice? So Charger69, you are saying I am better off starting a new cycle once I've started the testosterone . That makes sense to me...thanks.

What you're better off doing is waiting a month, retesting everything and seeing where you land. Take a look at the blood work listed in the Successful First Cycle sticky thread at the top of this forum. Then if all is ok follow that thread.

Just a few Dbol pills will affect your natural Test production. It takes your body some time to get back to normal production. When I come off some cycles, it takes me 6 months to feel normal and that's after a good PCT. Kel makes a good point. Just wait a few more weeks and see where you're at. Dbol is liver hepatic so taking a lot of it without liver support could damage your liver. Personally, I don't front load with Dbol anymore because I gain too much water weight and I get a moon face. You're trying to shed water and look cut, right?
