Clomid to help my low t levels(20 years old)

So I've been doing some research on alternatives to injecting testosterone to raise my natural levels. I have lower then normal test at 360ng/dl. I have many symptoms of low test like always being tired, anxiety, no more morning wood, depression, and no sex drive. I've done my research and levels below 450 ng/dl should be looked at by a doctor because they can produce all the symptoms I have. But wanted to see if you guys thought running clomid would be a good idea? Also not really sure what dosage I would run at my age because not many 20 year olds run clomid. Any advice with clomid would be cool. Oh yea, raising my natural levels isn't something I can do naturally. I have a good diet, weight lift 6 days a week and get more then enough sleep. My body simply doesn't make a good amount of test. THANKS.

This is just a side note(Even though I'm 20, was considering a 250mg test cycle.) The reason for this is simple. 250mg of test isn't alot but the only reason I wanted to run this is because I wanted to see if low tesosterone was really the cause of all my symptoms, think of it like self medication. Anyways just a thought.

It would be important to get blood work and see where your estrogen, dht, and free testosterone are at .. you may have low T symptoms simply because your not metabolizing testosterone very well and converting it to dht and estrogen .

some people feel worse taking clomid then they do having low test . perhaps your test levels go up but you still feel like shit so it makes no difference .

also you should get your vitamin D levels checked (vitamin d is a hormone precursor) . you could have a deficiency and thats causing the issues , its an easy fix . I would do more research and optimize diet (get more fats perhaps) before moving to self medicating in the dark

Go to an endocrinologist. Get bloodwork go from there.

Basically what both guys above said. Don't initiate clomid. You need to find out what's causing the issue before you band aid it. Many things can cause low T levels and you need full BW to determine what the issue is. Seldom is there not a causative factor. Be sure you test the following:

    LH/FSH
    TT & FT
Thyroid panel to include TSH, FT3, FT4 RT3 and Antibodies
    Prolactin
    Cortisol
    E2 Sens

Any sustantial head or testicular trauma in your past?

Vit D is always great to optimize as most everyone in N. America is low. It will help (a little) to improve your FT level by reducing your shbg. Most everyone can take 5K IU's per day without issue but BW is always prudent as it's a fat soluble hormone and to high a level for to long can actually be toxic. I take 10K IU's p/d which keeps me in the mid 80's on its scale of 30-100.
