    Testosterone mathematics

    Hello all.

I’m just doing some mathematics in planning for a hypothetical first cycle which might start in April. I’ve been on TRT through my TRT clinic for some time but I’ve never done an injection myself or measured dosages myself. So forgive me for the dumb questions.

I’m planning to supplement my TRT dose (150 weekly) with an additional 375 per week. This will bring my weekly dose up to 525 per week. 12 week cycle then back to my regular 150 weekly.

Here is the dumb question. I’m about to order Test Cyp 250 from a reputable source. It comes in 10 ml vials. Do I really only need to inject 1.5 mg per week? If it’s 250 mg/ml then 1.5 mg = 375 correct? This means I really only need to order 2 vials of this stuff? This seems low to me. I had in my head that I would probably be injecting more volume than this.

I’m going to order my gear soon. Is this really all the test c I need to order?

your cycle calls for 4,500 total MGs of test over a 12 week span. two bottles of 250mg/10mL gives you a total of 5000mg . so yeah it will cover you. 1.5 ML is all you need per week.

keep this in mind though.. if your going with test cyp then your only getting about a 65% absorption rate. so in reality your only going to be taking in 325 per week, even though your injecting 525.
test Prop on the other hand is a 92% absorption rate.. so you get more Test Ml for Ml

edit: but for a first cycle that is plenty enough Test no matter the absorption rate

    Gearheaded,

I had not considered absorption rate. Test Cyp is what my TRT clinic gives me. Would you recommend either increasing the dose of Test Cyp or switching to test prop?

I think for your first cycle what your doing is right on point. you don't need a ton of test to grow on your first cycle.
Later on down the road I'd go with Test Prop and do daily or EOD injections. You'll get way better absorption and maintain very high blood levels of Test.

I'm currently running a high dose of Test. I'm using Sustanon , Test E, and Prop. I'm injecting daily and keeping super high stable levels of Test. And getting good absorption rates by having the Prop in the Sustanon and added in daily as well.

for a first cycle though, just test e or cyp is fine especially because the injections are going to be a bigger deal for you and you have a lot of muscle to "de-virginize" and you'll get a lot of PIP

525 mg/week is more than enough for a blast.

You should order an extra vial of test in case something goes wrong.

Yeah. I’ll order an extra vial. This first cycle is also going to be a lot cheaper than I expected. No complaints here.

    You'll need an AI too.

Yes sir. I have a couple of options on AI. I will probably ask an additional question about AI soon. My doctor has me on a low dose of AI currently.

Don't overthink the math aspect. Just keep it simple.

Really what prompted the post was that I was shopping online for syringes. It forced me to think through how much volume of liquid I would be injecting per pin. I had imagined it would be more.

I noticed that myself. I had done the math, and a lot of the expense seemed to be the PCT stuff. After finding out that I’m a TRT candidate, crossing those off the list allows for more Test E/C for future use.

Pct is expensive, its insane. It seems like pretty much every oral is pricey too. Most likely because teenagers will order it constantly and not know what they are doing.

That’s probably true. I feel lucky that I don’t have to do PCT. I’m not sure that I am lucky, but I feel that way.
