Needle gauge and comfort ?

I will be doing my first ever cycle using Test E only later this year and currently getting everything lined up ( PCT, gear, etc) and wanted to get an idea of what gauge needles to get. The sticky regarding injections showed a 25 gauge to draw and inject. Just how viscous is the test solution ? Could I use a higher gauge needle to inject such as a slin pin ? Will it make much of a difference in terms of pip ?

25g Can be really hard to inject with imo, 21g is the best but is prob the biggest needle i'd inject with.

25g is fine depending on oil and if you can be bothered to warm it up before injecting.

I’ve used 22 and 23 so far, pinning quads and ventroglute. Absolutely no issues thus far. That said, I’m only injecting a TRT dose of Test E, so obviously more oil=more time.

pull with something like 21 and not 25. 25 would just be annoying to pull. I inject with 25g and dont find it hard

I am on trt. With that said, I used to use a 21ga to draw and a 25ga to inject. I never had the slightest issue injecting with a 25ga. As a matter of fact, I now use a 29ga 1/2in slin syringe to draw and inject. Drawing does take some time, about a minute but it takes 10 sec to push through with a 1/2cc.
I suppose it will depend on the type of oil used through. Thus far, I know grape seed oil and cotton seed oil can go through a 29ga no problem.
With that said, definitely use two separate needles for drawing and injecting.

I use 25g to inject with exclusively and they work fine. Maybe a little slower but painless and easy.
I use a 20g to draw with and the 25g at injection time.

Thanks for all the replies. I think for convenience purposes I'll just buy a bunch of 25 g needles and just put on a fresh one every time I'm going to pin.

Would a more concentrated formulation of 500 mg of test E per ML be better compared to say 200 mg per ML when it comes to pinning as there will be less oil in the shot ?

For drawing 18 or low 20 something gauge, the longest ones you can Get, so you can suck every last drop out of the bottom corners of those vials..for injecting at least 1”long and the smallest you can get away with ideally.the smaller the needle the, less disturbance that’s going to occur in the muscle.. and the slower the oil is injected the less chance you have of pip related to that. So maybe your injection takes 37 seconds longer than normal cause the oils so thick in this tiny pin, is that not worth less pain in the ass !?

I had no problems drawing with a 17g and pinning 4ml with a 23g

Pip from my experience is caused by the quality of the oil not the needle or speed at which you inject with.

There is no reason, zero reason to try and inject with anything larger then a 25 gauge. I used 25 gauge 1 1/2" for glutes and 5/8" 26 gauge for delts. All this its hard to shoot it bullshit, just heat the oil with a hair dryer and it will do through any gauge. And all this type of pip from shaking the needle is bullshit too, you would really need to drastically move the needle to make any serious damage. Don't believe the hype, especially on this site.........

I do draw first with a 21 gauge needle and then change to a shooting needle......

Agreed, that's why I use 25 for everything, convenience. My last order I couldn't get my hands on a 21 so I'm using 25 for everything.

I'd say yes, as you'll just be putting less oil into your body. No other benefits besides that.

I use 23 gauge 1inch needles to draw and inject, some guys like to use 22 or 18 to draw because it’s easier but I warm up my test before injection so it makes it easy to go into the needle and a charm to inject , painless process. Holp it helps .

I'd say yes, especially when you start pinning things like bicep, tricep, upper chest, that can't take a ton of ML volume to begin with .. bigger needles, Imo, are for larger 3cc injections of oil. if all you need to put in is 1 ml of volume then just use a little needle and pin a small muscle like biceps
