Finasteride
Has anyone used Finasteride or a product similar in conjunction with a test cycle, any aas cycle, or even without a cycle? Did it slow down or stop hair loss or do nothing?
I'm 36 with a decent "M" shape receding hairline, but full hair everywhere else. Moms side was fairly bald, Fathers side not bald, may have got Moms genes, damnit. Thinking about doing my first test cycle.
I've never taken anything for my hair, obviously it doesn't bother me that much at this stage or else I would have done something about it. But I'm not going to lie, I'm a little concerned doing my first test cycle & fast forwarding my given hair loss by 15 years in just a few weeks. Or I don't cycle. Or I research more.

Fina works but it can come with other side effects. Please do some more research and be informed. I use it for BPH and have had zero issues with it. The dosage for BPH is normally 5 mgs per day where for hair loss it's about 1 mg per day. Big difference. There are also shampoo's available that help to combat hair loss.

Fina at .5mg daily has worked great for me. Zero sides and in fact i think it increased my libido and ejaculate volume. Im not sure how to say that nicely lol. Im almost 25 and my hair was really thinning during my second cycle, but its way thicker now that ive been using fina. Dont expect it to work overnight and give you an elvis haircut, but it does work.

Octane you should be able to get by with much less if it's not for bph as well. I will add that it's impressive at its job of crushing dht. I've tested it at 400 mg test and dht levels are still sub-normal. For guys who are natty and use Fina a side benefit is that it will increase your test level a bit.

When did you start taking it? Some info I've researched says it needs to be dosed months prior to starting a cycle in order for it to either be effective or more effective.[/QUOTE]
I'm booked in for a hair transplant end of april ordered a years supply of finasteride yesterday. They advised me to take half a tablet 3 times a week takes up to 6 months to start seeing results apparently.
