Step on the scale each morning the last three morning, haven’t gained a thing, and even lost a pound this morning. WTF.

Anyone with any sort of input? At 171 pounds, should 3400 calories be putting weight on me!?
If you aren't gaining weight, eat more. Try adding something that isn't so hard to digest but nutrient dense. Olive oil and peanut butter come to mind. A tablespoon of olive oil is over 100 kcal and if you add that to a couple whole food meals you won't get much more full from them...

Good call. Thanks, man. Is it bad that something like that is all fat calories though?

Olive oil is healthy. If you're not gaining weight then your fats and carbs aren't enough to provide the energy... You'll use the fat as a source of energy either way.

Again, I’m getting really frustrated with this. As I reviewed my logs, turns out I’ve only gained 12 damn pounds in 8 weeks. At 3600 calories a day, and 172 pounds, I walk around in a constant state of nausea. Considering the amount of water and fat I’ve assumingly put on as well, I don’t think these gains have been much more than I could have gotten naturally. I’m really considering stopping this entire cycle after this week. Am I right that this hasn’t resulted in much in the way of gains? I’ve been working my damn ass off in the gym and added 1200 calories a day to my diet.

Sorry to hear you feel this. How have the strength gains been? Have you been pushing it to get that PR every workout?

    Have you gotten bloods?

12lbs in 8 weeks isn't bad at all.
    How much were you expecting?

I’ve been setting new records each day lifting, so strength has gone up for sure. And I’m doing nearly 30 sets for each muscle group, with only 30-60 rest periods. I didn’t do bloods.

I bought this straight from the pharmacy, so it is most definitely the real deal.

I just thought it was supposed to be a lot more than that. I’ve read people gaining 20-30 on first cycle. With only 12 pounds gained, I’m guessing only 6 of that is actual muscle. Seems I could have done that naturally. No?

I also haven’t felt that rage/thirst in the gym people speak of, nor has my libido been in overdrive either. Granted, I’ve still got 3.5 weeks left.

If you would have gained 40lbs but only increased 10lbs on each lift, would you be happier? Btw the ones claiming these weight gains were either anorectic before cycle or did god knows what with their diet and finished with a moonface. Imagine 20-30lbs of meat. Imagine that spread out on your frame. That's a lot of muscle produced on a frame. Listen to some IFBB pros interviews, when they talk about someone gaining 10lbs stage weight within a year they are amazed, meaning, 10lbs muscle not the effects of McDonald's and soda lol.
