Muscle pain/ abcess
I just started doing 1ml 250mg of cypionate weekly. I'm 35 and my test was under 310 on 3 tests, but my doc said I was ok so I took it into my own hands. I just really wanted to feel high testosterone levels, and now im going to the gym so that's a secondary perk.
Last Monday I did my 2nd shot into my delt, I decided to try using a diabetic needle to limit tissue damage, and frankly I'm a vagina when it comes to needles and pain. Anyways it was sore for a few days and got better. Now this Monday my delt hurt, was hot to the touch, and had a knot in it. I thought it was possibly an infection from not doing a good sterilization since I've never done injections before, but the wife says its probably an abscess.
I've been out of town and forgot my stuff, so I did my 3rd injection last night on weds, and did it in my quad( I'm trying different sites to find the least painful one). I woke up and my quad was killing me, it was very tight, and I can feel knots down on the bottom of it towards my knee. Walking and bending it sucks and I haven't been able to walk it off like I thought I would.
I'm going to watch the video about injecting that is stickier above, but what can I do about this soreness? I'm thinking of breaking my dose down into half doses twice a week because I figure it's too much oil at one time and my body hates it.
I plan on getting blood work in a month or so to see if I need an anti estrogen.
I really should have been smarter and done more research. Oh well live and learn. Thanks guys

lol, man up and use a 25g 1 and 1/2 inch needle and inject urself. dont try to use a diabetic needle.
work out right after u inject, ie inject quads on a leg day. it helps with the pain

Just use a proper needle, be brave it doesnt hurt that much.
If you have redness, sensitivity and inflammation around the injection site, you should start a topical antibiotic before the thing gets serious.

I did do a 23 gauge and it didn't hurt, I just have a bunch of diabetic needles and figured the smaller needle would help with the soreness a few days later and cause less tissue damage in the long run. It's not the injection site, it's the whole muscle. It feels tight like I ran a marathon, and is hot to the touch. It's so swollen that it feels like I have a small weight taped to my leg

Your gear seems dirty or...
virgin muscle or...
high BB and BB concentration or...
you are allergic to the oil or...
etc...
monitor for fever to make sure it is not an infection.
use a different brand next time.

Where did u get your gear?
Sounds like your injection technique is awful - it's def a learning curve

^^^^
This..it is very uncommon to get infections with oil based gear..your just not used to it and you probably have gear with high ba..tough it out get some real pins, go for glute injections they are much less painful and remember that it takes a lot of pain to be any kind of a bodybuilder and needles are the least of it..
