    Cycle for 64 yr old

Hi all, I've been off lifting last 6 years. Pretty heavy lifter in the day, 400 lb bench. I have juiced a bit in the past. I want to start lifting again. What would be a good cycle to start again?

    Are you on TRT?
Have you had your hormones checked?

Agree with above. A full blood panel to see where you're at is step one. Odds are you're a TRT candidate and that, in and of itself can make a world of difference for you.
Then spending some time re-acclimating yourself to lifting again before considering a cycle.

Welcome to the forum. I'm really curious about your gains so I hope you will post your cycle results. For now, get a good diet worked up and get back into the gym. You need to be in the gym seriously for at least a year before you start cycling. It takes your connecting tissues a lot longer to get strong. Muscles will get get strong in a few weeks. The tendons and ligaments will take a year or two. When you get on cycle you'll get cut and strong pretty fast. If you don't have the baseline tissue ready for your new conditioning, you could hurt yourself. Good luck.

    As stated, check out TRT.
Then see how you react to just raising testosterone a little.
I suspect that you’ll find that unlike when you were younger, hematocrit will escalate much easier now.

I know a guy that got hematocrit to 61 with 250mg Test plus 50mg tren a week. And he’s around 50.

And he knows a guy that got hematocrit to 59 during just 5 weeks on a regular TRT dose of Nebido.

This isn’t usual, but not that unusual either, and it really needs to be checked, hematocrit in those ranges quickly mean a stroke.

On this subject, I'm 57 and just starting to research and learn more before I start. What do you do when it rises that fast and that high when normally you would do blood work about 5 weeks in.

If you have doctor prescribed blood work coming up you don't run your cycle. Wait until after BW and your appt and all is good for the next 6 months or so.

Should I start a lower dose of test for my first cycle just to see how my body reacts?
