Hello and welcome!
Its not normal, but low test level at your age is a symptom of some underlying problem. Could be thyroid, or an array of other situations that should be diagnosed.
Can you post the blood work?

I'm in my late 50's and my test level is 428 so yours seems quite low for your age.

humm, no, wanted to see thyroid, prolactin, LH, FSH, etc if they got tested.
There are factors that can influence testosterone , this should be verified.

The range of "normal" is huge. 240 - 871 ng/dl is a huge range. There is a variance of 360%. I like to be between 750 to 800 on TRT and much higher on cycle. For free T, I like to be in the 30 ng/dl range on TRT. Upper end is the better as far as I'm concerned.

That's what I told the 2 specialist that I have seen and all they say is that I'm normal and they just tell me negative things about trt

Asked about the smoking cause of the hematocrit and hemoglobin being a bit high, but still inside range.
Of course, it is much better not to need TRT, but spite its problems it sure beats being hypogonadal. This last blood work everything looks ok, but you should measure your symptoms. Much more important than a number is how you feel, if you have low T symptoms you should continue to push for being treated, of course treatment could be TRT or fixing some underlying condition causing the low T.
