    Why does pinning in the vastus lateralis have to suck , everytime?!

    Title says it. Every time I pin in the upper lateral quad it hurts for days.

    Is it your first cycle?

    Virgin muscle will always hurt. Pin quads in the pocket area.

    Bad gear will hurt more.

    No and its pharm grade gear from my tet doc.
    Whats the pocket area?
    Got a picture with an arrow pointjng to it ?

    Tense the muscle and you’ll see a slight dip in your upper outer quadrant. This is where I shoot, this is the pocket area.

    Also, what needles are you using? Could just be your technique is a tad off, will improve with time though...

    And.. if you are experienced then maybe you’ve just done a few dodgy shots, it happens!

    Seems like that is where im hitting it
    If i pock my hand in my pants pocket the my pin point would have been where my palm rests on my lateral upper quad.

    That's the best spot in the quads.

    Still will be pip if virgin muscle.

    One hand right above side of knee, the other right below hip joint, dead center of that. Use a short needle.

    Like BB said, pocket area. Put the heal of your hand on your hip, where your middke finger is on your quad is whete you pin. Remenber right side and i would use a 25g yip am a pussy.

    If its a trt dose then why not use a slin pin and do a sub q in the stomach? Or the delts, alot less nerves to hit there

    My quads hurt all the time too. I just pin glutes and I'm fine.

    I rotate glutes delts and want to include quads but they suck.
    I use a 27g pin how

    I pretty much exclusively hit the upper outer quad area as being described above and get PIP every time in my right leg and almost never in my left.. nothing changes between the 2, I guess that’s just how it goes for me.
