Tapering and then PCT

So I recently had a convo with an AR Hall of Famer who will remain unnamed....

I have a bunch of friends locally that taper off and pull bloods often and continually over the years have consistent numbers and normal test levels.

So for my past cycle I tapered and then ran a full PCT treatment.

Here is the response from the AR HOF:

"I typically use long ester enanthate or cypionate these days and I taper from say 750mg-1000mg/wk down to 250mg and sometimes 125mg/wk over about a month period. I then coast on either 250 or 125 for a couple months to let other hormones (like cortisol) recalibrate in the body from prior heightened androgen levels and then either restart another cycle or take out test and start clomid or nolvadex , I found 1.5-2 months works way better for these SERMs, then off everything.

The tapering is 1) healthier, 2) gets rid of almost all post cycle acne problems, 3) helps maintain strength and mass better, 4) better overall mood. I actually was advised that is the best way by an MD years ago (although he discouraged anything other than HRT doses of course)."


Just food for thought, after my tapering and PCT I feel great and gains have stayed, but I also run a very clean diet that was built by my coach and a low dosage of HGH.

Valid points about the acne for sure.

I dont have the luxury though. I blast hard and fast with short esters, clean out a bit, and frontload back in with different compounds.

For me to get anywhere close there will be nothing safe about it and I am a long ways off.
