    testosterone & catabolism of adipose

I'm interested in the mechanisms by which testosterone (or other but we apply the principle during a cutting cycle) selects for adipose tissue, over muscle tissue, during catabolism. I'm researching and hoping someone else may have info as well. Of course, I'll forget it in a few weeks but I'd still enjoy learning.

Think you having some confusion, testosterone does nothing to adipose tissue.

Yeah, I worded that poorly. I meant, it spares muscle during calorie deficit. Isn't that the reason we use it in a cutting cycle? By what mechanism does it spare muscle?

By being anabolic I guess. When natural there's a limit to how low bodyfat each person can get before they lose muscle, this limit just gets pushed back a bit.

I'm sorry don't have the attn span to research right now but doesn't Test play a role in fat metabolism by binding to the beta fat receptor or something like that? Test def keeps you leaner but I forget the mech of action..

When going from hypogonadism to TRT people lost fat. I notice zero changes when going on cycle though, from TRT.
