1st cycle 9 weeks in results different than expected

Hey all, in the final few weeks of my first cycle of Tbol 40mg (1-7) and Test 400mg (1-12).

Maybe some experienced users can shed some light on this.

My results are much different from other people I have read. I have gone from 187 after a cut to around 203lbs (where I usually am at naturally). The results aren't so much size or an overall "huger" look most people talk about. I am getting MUCH more lean with a noticeable increase in the quality of muscle (striations, pops through skin more). This is strange to me because I have bumbed up my calories to try and bulk. Muscles have much better shape and my strength is going through the roof. Endurance is also much better. Gained a lot of size in the traps and shoulders are round and full. Waist is also getting tighter.

Not complaining, just curious as to why i'm getting a re composition effect from the test when I am trying to bulk? Also why the athletic benefits more so than bodybuilding ones (I am doing bodybuilding style training from coach). Is it genetics or perhaps I need to adjust diet and training?

    Thanks in advance!

When you cut, water comes out of your fat tissue and you get that lean look. Also, cutting removes water from beneath your skin so your skin looks really thin. Your muscles are craving nutrients, particularly carbs. Tbol's nice in that, while it does hold a little water under the skin, it voluminous the cell with water. The Test is providing huge amounts of nitrogen into the muscles and your diet's providing the necessary carbs. The fat hasn't had a chance to, well... get fat. This combo is awesome and building super lean muscle. If I have a competition coming up in July I'll prep for a smaller competition in April. I'll go through the entire cut process for the April show. When the April show is over I eat carbs and run a lean AAS cycle. I gain about 10 lbs of super lean muscle in 3 months. Then I'm ready for the "real" show in July. It's a common thing for body builders to do a "pre-show" competition in preparation for the "real" show. Congrats on your gains.

Thanks that really clears things up. Thought there was an issue with my diet or training 6 days a week and getting an over training effect. Good stuff
