37 and on TRT... Thinking about bumping my dose from 200mg to 300mg
Hey guys, after doing so googling and forum searching, I decided to go ahead and create an acct since I didn't find what I was looking for. I hope you all don't mind.
I'm 37 and unfortunately have naturally low test. My numbers are around 119ng/d. I have been on 200mg for a little over a year now. I was thinking that since I'm on it nonstop and I'm getting all I want (to a limit, from the pharmacy), why not take a little advantage of my situation and bump it up .5cc and dose 300mg, since I've started back at the gym.
I don't get any type of PCT or Estro blockers, but then again, I'm always on it, but I am worried about the Estro, since my Estro is high. I swear, I'm more woman than man, hormonally , just missed the twat.
I've noticed some changes from the 200mg, I've been taking. It's been aiding in fat loss and I see added definition. Do you think bumping up the dose to 300 would be beneficial? At that point would I need an AI? If so, then this thread is moot, because my Doc won't prescribe Adex' I keep getting the "its for women with breast cancer" excuse.
* Current dose 200/mg Once a week
I look forward to your replies, thanks.

EVJ, you will regret such a move if you proceed. 200mg is already top end TRT and bumping to 300 with no A.I will undoubtedly be an E2 nitemare.
You will be fighting off more sides than you can possibly imagine. Bloat, ED, on and on and on..... not to mention popping some titles in lu of the twat.
You are probably better off posting in the TRT section for future questions.

1-Welcome
2-This thread belongs in the TRT section.
3-You may need to evaluate your TRT regimen to see if it is worth staying with your doc. AT 37, you likely need an AI at 200 mg. Even with insurance paying, it can only help to get a specialist.
3a-Once a week pinning results in plasma fluctuations that are less than optimal in many ways.
4-Traditionally, this forum recommends staying on TRT for a year, the time it takes to dial in ones chemistry v doses.

Im new to the forum but i have been on TRT for years. Im 43 and was also naturally low.
I also went through the whole ordeal with my doctor not giving me an AI and wouldnt check my estrogen level. He was also giving me a 300mg shot every other week. It was a bad regimen. I got my own labs done to prove it and I was on a hormonal roller coaster.
I switched doctors amd went to a TRT clinic. Best choice ever. She made me feel better than ever. The Anastrozole did make a big difference and my injection schedule also.
I wouldnt take 300mg a week for ever either. 150 to 200mg a week is plenty to feel your best and i doubt you'll see any muscle gains from 300mg a week.
Your best bet would be to do a well planned cycle to get the results you seek and be at a health concious TRT dosage the rest of the time

Thanks for the input guys. Since I can't seem to get Adex from my Endo, I found the option for Lion and a liquid AI. He seems to be highly respected.
How do I move this to the TRT section?
Thanks again fellas!

You can just repost this is in the TRT section or message Admin to have it moved. Also you should not be pinning 200mg once a week - it should be done as 100mg twice per week (Ie Monday morning and Thursday evening).

3-day pinning is part of why I'm suggesting the TRT thread. With pinning every 3 days, you can maintain more stable blood levels.

My doctors have me on 300mgs of test c now for trt. Puts you at the top of range most likely. I'm also taking ai, hcg , mic. Oddly most trt programs will have you at 100-200mgs per week of test.

Wow. TRT doctors have jumped up on dose. 200mg is the high end. I'm almost 50 and it was not until I had been on try for 14 years before I got to 200 MG a week. You will feel better taking 100Mg twice a week then going to 300 mg

My Dr. actually gives me up to 25mg a week and i can use what ever i dosage i want up to that based on how i feel.
I find that 150 a week is my best and i dont feel any better doing 250. Also 150 puts my test levels right at 800 when i get labs done.
Lab work is a good start but go with what ever dosage makes you feel the best

I don't feel much of anything on 200 per week. The only reason I waned to up the dose was to take advantage of it, a bit, to put on some size. I read an old thread here, that 300 would put on some mass.
I'll try pinning twice a week, as you guys suggested. As for blood work, I should be getting them done in a month or so.
I'll ask the Admin to move my thread. I don't want to lose all your replies.

Would concentrate on getting your TV levels dialed in before trying to add soms size. At TRT, Imo, you should be doing a cycle of 600 MG a week for a cycle and then dropping back to TRT.

What's your T level at 200mg/wk or are you still stabilizing your dosage? Get your blood stable for 6 months and then run a Test cycle, 500mg/wk or 600mg/wk for 12 wks.

If someone doesn't make gains on 300 mgs per week then they only have their training and nutrition to blame.
Yes! Plus you should be able to decrease the dose and maintain those levels. Thus allowing less of a need for adex as well as hematocrit issues.
300 mgs per week really isn't TRT unless you're a hypermetabolizer and need a higher, more frequent dosing protocol. Or does this doc have you on one large injection every two weeks or so? Which is again, not good.
