First Test E Cycle - 5 Weeks in and no weight gain.

Hi everyone I’ve been injecting 500mg of test e for 5 weeks now and haven’t noticed any weight gain. However, I have been feeling more horny and been having more oily skin. (This could just by psychological).

When do people typically get an increase in weight? I’ve been eating 4000 calories a day (500 above maintenance).

first, let me get this out of the way.

very young still man, this is not a good idea, you should stop now.

with that said, i would love to see the diet at 4k calories a day, please list.

you should def be gaining with that much cal on daily basis at your age.

Wow, way to young. Please stop and do a PCT and think about the side affects you may be stuck with for the rest of your life.

How much do you weigh and how tall are you?

Are you taking an AI? HCG ?

If you have been eating 500cals above maintenance for 5 weeks you should have gained weight even without steroids . You need to up your food/carb intake.

There's always that chance your stuff is underdosed or bunk. But if you're eating 500 cal over maintenance, you should be gaining weight regardless, even if it was just fat.

Whether you finish your cycle or stop it now won't make any difference in your physique. The weight you gain will be fat and water with that terrible of a diet. Your diet has so many mistakes.

By stopping your cycle now you will save yourself money in the long run when you are actually ready for gear.

Not trying to be rude but it's the honest truth. Bodybuilding is 80% diet and nutrition, and yours sucks.

Take the time to educate yourself or suffer the consequences.

Thanks for your reply but could you give me any tips on how to improve my diet?

    Read all the diet stickies

    Calculate your TDEE.

Develop a meal plan based on your goals including with nutrition in mind.

Adjust meal plan based on how food agrees with your digestion/gut (ie some people are gluten intolerant, dairy, etc)

Optimize meal program based on above.

Make small and long term goals. Track said goals beyond what the scale says (mirror, body measurements, accurate bodyfat calculation, strength, etc)

Show discipline by maintaining the program and training.

Cycle at 25 years old or above.

Thanks again! I appreciate the reply and will keep this in mind when creating a new meal plan this week.

    Hey man,

    Here are your issues:
You don't know if your gear is legit due to lack of labs.
You don't know your starting point due to lack of labs.
It seems you don't know how to diet/train in order to maximize growth w/o gear, therefore your not using your gear to the fullest potential.

If your not gaining mass, these are your potential reasons, in order of importance:

1.Your not doing enough training volume
    - Either your total number of sets per week are not enough. Or your not training within a hypertrophic rep range. Or your loads are not heavy enough. Or your form is complete shit. Or the most likely one: all of the above.

    2. Your not eating enough
    - Your protein and fats, per your screenshot, are more than enough. If #1 isn't your problem (which it 99% is), up your carbs. If your still not gaining, up your carbs more.

    3. Your gear is fake or underdosed
    - In this scenario, the only reason I would say this is because tbh, especially if it's your first cycle, 500mg of Test per week will definitely override being a complete retard with items #1 and #2. I have seen people who are totally incompetent and do virtually everything wrong, still gain on 500mg of Test per week - because steroids are just that strong.

Your first course of action should be to go get your BW done and see where your levels are at. That will give an assurance on whether or not the problem is #3.

How long have you been training?
By training I don't mean playing sports, doing cardio, or just having fun sessions in the gym.
How long have you been doing a minimum of 4-5 days per week of lifting consistenly?
Are you drinking alcohol on a normal basis?
What do you do for work/normal daily routine?

Sounds like your oils are fake. You should be gaining. How confident are you in your source?
