My wife's dose
I've been asking questions on my wife's dose of testosterone topical cream... her prescription is 0.06% 5ml daily. How many mg a month is she taking? What I've been reading on Google is a good dose for a woman is 100 mg a month I just don't know the math to figure out how many milligrams she's taking a month if anybody could help me out greatly appreciate it

It really shouldn't be thought of by month because the time it has an effect is much shorter. So, what is important that your wife is receiving the correct dosage per day.
Here is the math behind what you posted however, the pharmacodynamics of the specific medication mean that this information is not going to apply, as far as an answer, in any helpful way. It would be better to google the dosing range or effective dose of the medication in which you are interested. Perhaps "mg/kg dosing range," something like that. It should be available in a PDR or drug handbook.
Here's the math I promised:
.06% x 5ml = .003mL or maybe, the .06% refers to a percentage of mg of the active ingredient?

I actually just called the pharmacy that made it... unfortunately I found out it is testosterone is bio and made from yams ! And only 15mg a month... which in my opinion would not work to being with... but I do know that 1.25 ml a week of 200mg will be about 25mg a week ... looks like she's gonna be taking a little bit of my cyp a week

Do not start her that high. Im assuming the percentage is based on active ingredient and not dosage.
As quester said it needs to be thought of on a daily or maybe even weekly dosing, not a per month dosing. The compound doesnt take effrct or absorb per month. Some docs dealing with women have asopted this philosophy based on per month dosage and it doesnt make any sense. I went though this with my wife and multiple docs.
Either way if you are going to ditch the topical and go to inj, you need to start at a 5mg dosage twice per wk if you are using cyp then titrate up. She may end up near 20mg per wk or more likely optimally she will be around 10-15mg or so per wk for her levels to be optimal.
Women are alot more sensitive to test than men. If you start at 25mg and find out in a month that its too much, she is screwed for another few wks that her test will remain too high, risking side effects becoming permanent rather than subsiding or being reversible.
Also just a thought- i did it because its what i use and until we win our battle with the insurance company, its the most viable option-use prop instead of cyp. It gives you a bit more security that you can cut it or decrease dose and lessen risk of permanent sides. When my wife started, i started her at 3mg every other day and ended up at 7mg twice a week. It works fantastic, no sides at all, and accomplishes the goal of her feeling better.

I just figured I get 200mg of cypionate a week.. so if I took out just a little it wouldn't effect me any and help her...shes been doing her cream for 2 weeks now.. nothing so farLast edited by 3xwinner; 07-12-2018 at 04:02 PM.

It's your wife, quit playing doctor. She's seeing a doctor, let him take care of her.
Women need no were near our level of test. Her cream will do it's job, give it time.

Normally, women are prescribed testosterone because they are low on estrogen. Hence, it is an estrogen replacement. If you are interested in a substance for bodybuilding effects, you may want to look into anavar .

Test prop would be a better option for a women. If things go bad, you can stop the negative effects much faster.
