Applying T-gel other places than what label says? Safe?

    Hi!

I’m using Tostran (AKA. Fortesta), and it says to use it on abdomen or inner thighs. It says to avoid other areas. I know these instructions differ for all T gels. I want to apply it to my upper arms and shoulders, as studies show this to be the best area for optimal absorption.

My question is: Is there ANY problem with applying the gel a different place than suggested? I can’t seem to come up with any good evidence against it…

    Thanks

You can, no issue with shoulders and arms, just make sure to avoid contact with kids and ladies if skin is exposed.

As HH pointed out, you can apply it anywhere and the problem is where it gets afterward. Putting it somewhere less likely to rub off onto arm-chairs, doorknobs, and washcloths is the main goal. Why? Because it is a lot more in females and children; it could cause long term damage their HPTA, among other health problems.

    Thanks to both of you!

So basically, there are no pharmacological (?) reasons for avoiding other areas than suggested? Simply a matter of where it's less likely to be transferred to others...

Would love more opinons, so keep them coming!

Yeah, "no pharmacological reason," apparently the medical community is under the misconception that an adult male would have enough concern for women and children.
