Prescribed TRT but Not Enough For Proper Cycle

Hi all. I am brand new to this forum but so far it has been an amazing resource! I am starting my first cycle soon, and I have been going to a Low T clinic to try to get a prescription (I'm 25, test levels around 560). They advised me not to jump into TRT and to try something such as Arimidex, Clomid, or HCG to help my body produce more of its own testosterone (which obviously I would only want to use any of these on cycle and/or for PCT), but I managed to convince them I understand the risks of TRT and would like to get started with it.

Long story short, they said they were okay with it, but their protocol is to start with 100mg/week Test Cyp (not enough of course). Not only this, but I would need to come in every week to have them inject for me for the first couple months. However, I asked if it is possible to inject at home after the first time to save money on visits, and they said that is "a possibility and something we could talk about", but the first one needs to be in office. I also would need to come in for regular blood work. So they would know if I'm buying and injecting extra (I've heard this is avoidable by using short chain test and stopping it a bit before the blood work, but I really don't want to complicate my first cycle).

Initially I was just going to say screw it and just use this as a prescription for HCG, Arimidex, and Clomid (I don't think they have Nolva according to their information packet, but I can ask). But after he said it is a possibility for me to do it at home myself after the first injection, then I'm thinking I could just inject more than recommended at home (definitely preferred). But the blood tests will still be a problem. The other option would be to continually go in office and have them inject the 100mg for me and buy my own Test Cyp on the side to inject after I got home, but this would complicate things as well, and I'm not sure how safe it is to use 2 different brands of test at once? And again, them taking blood work would still be a problem. Another option could obviously be to just drop the whole thing and get everything myself, but this seems like a great opportunity to get some scripts.

Does anyone have any experience with this situation or have any advice on the correct course of action to take?

100mg week is a very good range for TRT. If your looking for something more, than obviously you will need a larger dosage.
How often do you have to go in to be checked at the TRT clinic?

I believe every couple months. But my problem is I’m not actually trying to do TRT, as I know I don’t need it. I was hoping to use the prescribed Test Cyp and PCTs to run a cycle of gear, because I thought it would make things easier and less complicated. But it turns out it’s doing the opposite.

That is completely the wrong way to go about it - and TRT is accompanied by bloodwork so not only will they never perscribe a cycle dose of gear, you are going to get flagged by having bloodwork done on cycle and them seeing your levels sky high. People on TRT don't PCT, which is why Tamoxifen never came into the conversation. Tamoxifen would be applicable to a TRT patient if there was a concern for gyno.

Invest time into finding pharma grade gear if you are too scared to use UGL. We have a thread sticky on how not to get scammed - you need to read it and also research pharma grade gear because if you have no idea what you are looking for (which I can only assume to be the case because you haven't cycled before), its very easy to get scammed.

It takes more than a couple of hours on google to find a quality source. Remember, you are trying to find a complete stranger to sell you something illegal, over the internet. Always wear your common sense hat.

In Summary, these are the steps you need to take, in this order

(1) Read all the Educational threads
(2) After you've read the educational threads, re-read for a second time the "my first cycle" thread and the "how not to get scammed" thread
(3) Post your diet up for review and optimization
(4) Get bloodwork done
(5) Using 1-4, reassess whether or not cycling makes sense on alogical level. Throw emotion out the window, it will not be useful in your decision.
(6) If you make it to this step, find a quality source.
(7) Purchase MORE than the minimum requirement to complete your cycle
(8) Log your cycle, and bloodwork 6-8 weeks after cycle.

If you don't follow these steps, you will fail, simple as that. Do you want to feel like a failure this year or set yourself up for success ?

one thing I want to point out is this you're going to pay literally two to three times as much for a cycle worth of gear from a clinic then you would have you sourced it online from a underground lab or from a place that resales Pharma grade

If they are pulling labs every 2 months you'll never be able to beat the system, which is basically what you're trying to do, right?
Highly unlikely you will find a Dr. that is going to risk his/her license just to write you high ( beyond TRT) dosages of testosterone. HCG and an aromatase inhibitor....very possibly, but only for TRT if labs indicate a need for a need for an a.i.(not cycle doses on the a.i.).
As you can gather from the answers already posted, it's just a bad approach all of the way around.

Do as suggested above regarding research and sourcing your gear, whether you go pharma or UGL.

I know you probably weren't aware of it, but many Drs. get tired of patients requesting TRT when it isn't indicated and honestly, it probably makes it tougher on the guys that have a legitimate need for TRT.

what a waste of time and energy bro. Source some testosterone from the black market. Also source some Adex from an online Indian pharmacy. Do you bloodwork through private labs. Blast away on test and then PCT with india pharm nolva.

Why waste all that time trying to fool a doctor. They aren't that dumb and you won't even get what you want, which is a steroid cycle.

Read the stickies like I suggested they will answer your price question. 99% of questions you have are going to be answered by reading the educational threads.

I personally don't recommend buying off a website especially for someone new.

I pay $27 a vial with my TRT prescription and insurance from the pharmacy but I only get 1 vial every 10 weeks. You can find a source and buy most test for around $30-45 a 10ml vial.

There is no way of tricking the system to get enough TRT to run a cycle.

There are a few brands you wont fail with if it is legitimately from that lab but you will pay more

Goodrx sounds like a here today gone tomorrow guy buying raws from a purple asian bear, filtering shit one syringe at a time through a whatman.
Lots of smaller ugls selling test for $25 and they wont stand behind it, they dont test their raws, and will hand you excuses if bloods shows its bunk.
