Calculating AI and HCG dosage

Hey All,

I know to find the right dosage of AI is only through Blood Work to check my E2 levels - but the thing is should I start the AI as soon as I started my cycle or should I wait 3 weeks after I started my cycle to check my BW.

IF I should start from the beginning what will be the right dosage? (I have exemestane in hand - my second cycle plan 500 mg Test P/Week).

What about HCG ? I have already read the related threads and they suggested 250mg/ twice a week. But is it practical for all cycles? or I should check my LH levels to find it out?

One more thing about using HCG there is two approaches:

1) Using during post-cycle period at substantial dosage for a period of 2-3 weeks ( Traditional protocol )
2) During cycle - 250mg/twice a week.

I find lots of threads suggesting using during cycle but I cannot understand the reason behind it.

I recommend you start your AI with your cycle.

I also recommend that you use hCG on cycle only and refrain from using post cycle.

What will the right dosage of AI (exemestane) to start with?

I know the half life is 24 hrs but the duration of action is 3-4 days so can I take E2D or it should be ED?

about HCG during cycle, thanks for your comprehensive thread and your effort for preparing it but how did we reach 250mg/week is adequate?

The different dosages are what people have found over the years to work and what has been confirmed with bloodwork which is why bloodwork is important as it just might be that you need a different dosage of AI or something else might be happening.

Also, HCG is 250 IU, twice/week for your proposed cycle.
