    2 a days

Thoughts on working out twice a day? After some relationship issues I’ve been using that energy in the gym. Often going twice a day, second workout consisting of more of light weight high reps/cardio and abs. But usually same muscle group I did earlier. 3 weeks into a masteron /test cycle. Thanks!

If you train to true failure and achieve hypertrophy then you don't need to train weights twice a day. I would focus on maximizing the most out of a single workout. You could separate cardio+core from weight training but don't see a need to do weights twice a day.

I would surely over train working out 2 x per day my workouts are so intense.
If you venture this route, I wouldn't work the same body part again. Pick an opposing
    muscle group.

In my opinion you don't need two days a week if you train each body part right. Regardless of aas you can only heal so fast, even with perfect diet.

Everyone is different but I have been doing this a while and I promise intensity will trump frequency every time.

It's feasible if you take one workout and split it into two parts. It's a little time consuming, since that's two trips to the gym a day, but I used to do this on back/bicep days just because I had so many exercises that I'd burn myself out before finishing the workout. I'd be strong on my first muscle groups and weak on my last ones, so I'd split the workout and recover energy before working those last groups. I certainly wouldn't go in and work the same groups twice a day, but if you split your workouts, you may notice an increase in intensity on your later sets. It's not a bad idea if you have the time for it.

And to add to the above, it would depend on your goals. For example if you are powerlifting and trying to become stronger you may want break up your chest, back and legs to hit them on more than one day and that may force you to work other muscle groups for balance on a second workout preferably later in the day. With this if you go heavy weight, low rep chest you could hit your chest later in the week with higher volume for more balance. While hitting heavy back or legs earlier in that same day when you might be strongest.

I’ve tried two a days with different muscle groups, allowing me to work each muscle on its own, completely fresh and with maximum motivation.

Even with great attention to recovery I still burned out after a few months.

I also noticed a significant boost in hypertrophy and loss of fat during the first couple months, I added some lbs and also lost some fat in that time.

What I learned from my experience is two a days can be a great addition to a long term program, but should be utilized for shorter periods of time, say 4-6 week bursts, perhaps in conjunction with a prime and a short cycle.
